<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project for EPC, construction, shutdown, and maintenance projects.</li> <li>Prepare baseline schedules, manpower histograms, resource loading, and cash flow projections.</li> <li>Monitor project progress and update schedules on a weekly/monthly basis.</li> <li>Analyze project performance and identify schedule risks, delays, and critical activities.</li> <li>Prepare look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and mitigation strategies.</li> <li>Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and HSE departments to ensure alignment with project milestones.</li> <li>Participate in project kick-off meetings, progress review meetings, and client coordination meetings.</li> <li>Track productivity, progress percentages, and earned value analysis (EVA).</li> <li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and dashboards for management and clients.</li> <li>Review subcontractor schedules and monitor subcontractor performance.</li> <li>Support claims preparation, extension of time (EOT) analysis, and delay analysis when required.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with company procedures, contract requirements, and project specifications.</li> <li>Maintain proper project documentation and records related to planning and scheduling activities.</li> <li>Assist project management in forecasting project completion dates and identifying resource requirements.</li> <li>Coordinate shutdown/turnaround planning activities when applicable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements &amp; Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.</li> <li>Minimum 3 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling within oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or EPC construction projects.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles.</li> <li>Proficiency in:</li> <ul> <li>Primavera P6</li> <li>Microsoft Project</li> <li>Microsoft Excel and reporting tools</li> </ul> <li>Familiarity with EPC project lifecycle and construction methodologies.</li> <li>Experience in resource planning, progress measurement, and delay analysis.</li> <li>Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, project specifications, and contracts.</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li> <li>Knowledge of international standards and project controls practices is an advantage.</li> <li>PMP, PSP, or equivalent certification is preferred.</li> <li>Gulf/Middle East experience is an added advantage.</li> </ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling within oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or EPC construction projects.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles.</li> <li>Proficiency in:</li> <ul> <li>Primavera P6</li> <li>Microsoft Project</li> <li>Microsoft Excel and reporting tools</li> </ul> <li>Familiarity with EPC project lifecycle and construction methodologies.</li> <li>Experience in resource planning, progress measurement, and delay analysis.</li> <li>Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, project specifications, and contracts.</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li> <li>Knowledge of international standards and project controls practices is an advantage.</li> <li>PMP, PSP, or equivalent certification is preferred.</li> <li>Gulf/Middle East experience is an added advantage.</li> </ul><p></p></section>
