<p><h4>Job Description</h4> <p>The Non-Destruction Inspection Technician (NDI) III inspects aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.</p> <p>Conduct the training and examination on all NDT methods to certify and to re-certify all operators and inspectors as outlined in NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189.</p> <p>Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection.</p> <p>Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair center.</p> <p>Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action.</p> <p>Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations.</p> <p>Compute and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitor personnel exposure data.</p> <p>Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems.</p> <p>Detect flaws such as cracks, delaminations, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment.</p> <p>Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors.</p> <p>Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment.</p> <p>Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools.</p> <p>Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment.</p> <p>Perform silver recovery functions.</p> <p>Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials.</p> <p>Perform other qualified duties as assigned.</p> <h4>Minimum Requirements:</h4> <ul> <li>Completion of high school or equivalent and U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.</li> <li>Trained and certified as an Examiner (Level III) to monitor the NDT Program, interpret codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the NDT method, will be certified to review their own x-rays.</li> <li>Three (3) years’ experience as a Non Destructive Inspection (NDI).</li> <li>Must be able to pass and clear CENTCOM Army MOD Physical and requirements for deployment (will attend CRC/DIDC Training).</li> <li>Must be able to obtain Kuwait PCC clearance and Visa, prior to deployment.</li> </ul> <h4>Security Clearance Requirements:</h4> <ul> <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt NAC-I (T1) Public Trust Security Clearance.</li> <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.</li> <li>US Citizenship is required to obtain a Clearance and for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.</li> </ul> <h4>Additional and Preferred Qualifications:</h4> <ul> <li>Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the approved NDT method(s).</li> <li>Capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.</li> <li>Capable of selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection.</li> <li>Capable of preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures in the method certified.</li> <li>Approve NDT procedures and other NDT related work instructions for technical adequacy in the method in which they are certified.</li> <li>Capable of providing or directing training, examination, and certification of personnel in the method in which they are certified.</li> <li>Thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method in which they are certified.</li> <li>Capable of providing the necessary guidance and supervision to trainers and personnel in the technique/method in which they are certified.</li> <li>Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems or other technology as applicable to fabrication, repair, operation and maintenance requirements.</li> <li>Efficient in record keeping and preparation of reports; <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for material inventory management at the site level. Responsible for the overall management of the KC-130J supply warehouse, material requirements, and all logistics functions necessary for support of the assigned program. Assists the Supply Lead in the accomplishment of tasks assigned to the Supply Resource Center and serves as the point of contact on all logistics/supply/material related issues. Complies with all references pertaining to KAF logistics procedures, to include the KAF 4790 series manuals as they apply to this contract.</p><p>Assists the Supply Lead in the management of daily operations and execution of all tasks in support of the Supply Resource Center. Works as a member of the supply team, executing tasks and facilitating priorities as prescribed by the Supply Lead and Maintenance Control. Ensures timely and accurate completion of all supply related reports, contract deliverables, and relevant documents. Enforces and exercises continuous awareness of the supply effort in compliance with the KAF 4790, V2X, and local policies and instructions. Establish and maintain written procedures for the proper control of Government Furnished Property. Ensures accountability, shipment, and receipt of detachment pack ups and retrogrades. Use illustrated parts breakdowns (IPB)s to determine material requirements, research associated part numbers, and order parts to complete maintenance actions. Maintains liaison with adjacent contractors and agencies in the performance of duties to include the procurement of high priority components/consumables, coordinating, facilitating, and tracking all shipping requirements. Manages all aspects of the Repair of Repairable (ROR) process, to include the preparation, coordination, tracking, and accurate documentation of all ROR transactions. Submits changes to established procedures/business rules ensuring all functions are consistent with written procedures. Establish and maintain stocking levels of aircraft components and consumables to ensure materials are available to meet maintenance requirements and maintain established contractual Mission Capability (MC) rates. Uses established supply routes to pick up and drop off parts in the support of maintenance and the flight schedule. Conducts and documents monthly inventories, maintains and updates supply records and documentation, maintains inventory at lowest possible cost to the customer. Makes recommendations concerning the functions of the Supply process at all supply/logistics meetings. Complies with DOT Hazardous Material Transportation Procedures. Utilizes logistical/supply related automated information systems to research, order, track, open, and close out supply requisitions. Processes, receives and restocks parts, maintaining all shipping documentation and certificates of conformance upon receipt of all parts as shipments arrive. Requisitions replenishments to maintain adequate stock levels to ensure parts are available to maintain mission capable (MC) aircraft and ready for issue (RFI) support equipment. Extensive working knowledge of Government Property Control/Procurement procedures in accordance with KAF 4790 Works directly with the customer, interfacing with both U.S. and Kuwaiti government, in the conduct of daily business and on issues involving procedural deficiencies. Complies with all company and government safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Responsible for updating and maintaining the KAF s supply information system: Kuwait Automated Supply Program (KASP) and maintenance information system: GOLD. Maintains accurate records of government property throughout the acquisition and disposition process. Checkout and operate all necessary support equipment to conduct warehouse operations.
