يقوم فني فحص عدم الإتلاف (NDI) III بفحص مكونات أنظمة الأسلحة الفضائية ومعدات الدعم من حيث السلامة الهيكلية باستخدام أساليب الفحص غير التدميري ويجري تحليل السوائل. إجراء التدريبات والامتحانات على جميع أساليب NDT للشهادة وإعادة الشهادة لجميع المشغلين والفاحِصين كما هو موضح فيNAS 410 أو ASNT-CP-189. تحديد طريقة الاختبار وتحضير السوائل والقطع للفحص غير التدميري. تفسير نتائج فحص عدم الإتلاف وتقديم معلومات عن العيوب إلى مركز الإصلاح. تحليل تقارير محتوى معدن التآكل في زيت المحرك والسوائل الأخرى وتقديم توصيات للإجراء التصحيحي. تحديد مناطق الإشعاع للعمليات الشعاعية. حساب ومراقبة مناطق التعرض الشخصية للعمليات الشعاعية ومراقبة بيانات تعرض الأفراد. إجراء فحص غير تدميري على الهياكل والمكونات والأنظمة. الكشف عن العيوب مثل الشقوق والتفَتُّت والفجوات وعيوب المعالجة والتلف الناتج عن الحرارة باستخدام معدات اختبار النفاذية، التيار المتردد المغناطيسي، جسيمات مغناطيسية، أشعة، بصرية وموجات فوق صوتية. تحديد معلومات معدنية للمكونات وفقاً للسبيكة والدرَجة والموصلية والعوامل المرتبطة. تشغيل وصيانة وفحص معدات غير تدميرية. إجراء صيانة العامل والفحص الخدمي على معدات الورشة وأدواتها. التأكد من تنفيذ إجراءات قفل وإشارة قبل الصيانة على المعدات. إجراء وظائف استعادة الفضة. التعامل مع النفايات والمواد الخطرة والتخلص منها. أداء واجبات مؤهلة أخرى كما هو مقرر.
الملف المرشح المطلوب
- يرجى أن يكون خريجاً من المدرسة الثانوية أو ما يعادلها وتلقي تدريب تقني عسكري أمريكي أو دورة تدريبية متخصصة مطلوب، ويستلزم الشهادة المستوى التعليمي.
- تدريب وشهادة كمُفحص (المستوى III) لمراقبة برنامج NDT، تفسير الأكواد والمعايير وغيرها من الوثائق التعاقدية التي تتحكم في طريقة NDT، وسيتم اعتماده لمراجعة أشعته الخاصة.
- خبرة ثلاث (3) سنوات كفاحِص غير تدميري (NDI).
- جواز سفر أمريكي ساري مطلوب للنشر إلى الكويت. يجب أن يكون جواز السفر لديه 3 سنوات متبقية قبل انتهاء الصلاحية، و6 صفحات فارغة متاحة في وقت التعيين والنشر.
- يجب أن يتمكن من اجتياز وتلبية متطلبات الفحص البدني للقوات المركزية CENTCOM Army MOD (سيحضر تدريب CRC/DIDC).
- يجب أن يكون قادراً على الحصول على تصريح وفزا الكويت PCC قبل النشر.
- المواطنة الأمريكية مطلوبة للحصول على تصريح وللميزات/التفويض للعمل في هذه المنشأة.
- امتلاك المهارات والمعرفة لتفسير الأكواد والمعايير والوثائق التعاقدية التي تتحكم في طريقة NDT المعتمدة.
- قادر على تحمل المسؤولية الفنية لمنشأة NDT والطاقم.
- قادر على اختيار الطريقة والتقنية لفحص محدد.
- قادر على إعداد والتحقق من كفاية الإجراءات في الطريقة المعتمدة.
- الموافقة على إجراءات NDT وغيرها من التعليمات الفنية ذات الصلة لضمان الكفاية الفنية في الطريقة التي يتم اعتمادها.
- قادر على توفير أو توجيه التدريب والامتحان والشهادة للموظفين في الطريقة المعتمدة.
- معرفة شاملة بنطاق وتقيد التقنية/الطريقة التي يتم اعتمادها.
- قادرة على تقديم التوجيه والإشراف اللازمين للمدربين والموظفين في التقنية/الطريقة المعتمدة.
- معرفة بأنظمة كهربائية وميكانيكية إلكترونية هيدروليكية وهوائية أو تكنولوجيا أخرى ذات صلة بالتصنيع، الإصلاح، التشغيل ومتطلبات الصيانة.
- كفاءة في حفظ السجلات وإعداد التقارير؛ القدرة على مراجعة عمل الآخرين وتحديد الدقة والتوافق مع المعايير.
- إتقان استخدام نظام اللوجستيات على مستوى الوحدة - المطورة للطيران (ULLS-AE)، وهو النظام الحالي لإدارة الصيانة المستخدم للحفظ سجلات ونماذج الطائرات العسكرية.
- معرفة شاملة بإجراءات استكشاف/إصلاح مكونات الطائرات الميكانيكية واستبدال المكونات.
- معرفة شاملة بعمليات وتعديلات هيكلية من ورقة الطائرة وخصائص إصلاحها مع القدرة على تحديد وظيفة الأنظمة الكهربائية غير المعقدة.
- معرفة تفصيلية بأدوات الطائرات الفريدة مثل معدات الاختبار، مفكات عزم، مؤشرات منازل، مِكْس، مقاييس، توسيعات الكابلات، مكابس وصفيحات من الورقة المعدنية، إلخ. مفضلة.
- القدرة على تقديم الدعم الفني للمهندسين الهيكليين/الميكانيكيين والعملاء.
- مهارات تنظيمية ممتازة في ترتيب حجم العمل لتلبية جدول تسليم الطائرات.
- يجب أن يكون قادراً على المشي والوقوف على أسطح مستوية و/أو مائلة لفترات طويلة خلال اليوم
- يجب أن يكون قادراً على صعود السلالم والمنحدرات والسلالم السلالمة وأقفاص العمل
- يجب أن يكون قادراً على الانحناء أو الزحف، التقاط أو التعامل مع الأشياء، استخدام دقة الأصابع، ثني الكوع/الركبة والوصول فوق/تحت الكتفين
- قد يُطلب رفع أشياء ثقيلة قد يتجاوز وزنها 50 رطلاً
- يجب أن يكون قادراً على الكتابة باستخدام لوحة مفاتيح قياسية للتواصل عبر البريد الإلكتروني وتطبيقات البرمجيات المختلفة
- سيتم التعامل مع الأجزاء القذرة والمواد الزيتية
- سيُطلب ارتداء معدات الحماية الشخصية المناسبة (PPE)
- يجب أن يجتاز اختبار فحص منزلة للنفخ واشتراطها
- قد يُطلب تشغيل مركبات كهربائية وآلات وأدوات يدوية ومعدات دعم أرضي ومراجل شوكية، إلخ.
- يجب أن يكون قادراً على رفع/دفع/سحب ما لا يقل عن 50 رطلاً
- قد يعمل في ورشة صيانة أو في الخارج
- يجب أن يكون قادراً على العمل في ورشة حيث البيئة عاصفة، صاخبة ووسخة
- قد يتعرض لارتفاع صوت عالي من تشغيل المعدات
- قد يتعرض لمخاطر الصعق الكهربائي أو العمل قرب أجزاء ميكانيكية متحركة أو مركبات.
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Non-Destruction Inspection Technician (NDI) III inspects aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis. Conduct the training and examination on all NDT methods to certify and to re- certify all operators and inspectors as outlined in NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189. Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection. Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair center. Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action. Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations. Compute and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitor personnel exposure data. Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems. Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination s, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment. Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors. Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment. Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools. Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment. Perform silver recovery functions. Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Completion of high school or equivalent and U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.
- Trained and certified as an Examiner (Level III) to monitor the NDT Program, interpret codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the NDT method, will be certified to review their own x-rays.
- Three (3) years experience as a Non Destructive Inspection (NDI).
- A Valid US Passport is Required for deployment to Kuwait. The Passport must have 3 years remaining before expiring, and 6 Blank pages available at the time of hire and deployment.
- Must be able to pass and clear CENTCOM Army MOD Physical and requirements for deployment (will attend CRC/ DIDC Training).
- Must be able to obtain Kuwait PCC clearance and Visa, prior to deployment.
- US Citizenship is required to obtain a Clearance and for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.
- Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the approved NDT method(s).
- Capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
- Capable of selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection.
- Capable of preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures in the method certified.
- Approve NDT procedures and other NDT related work instructions for technical adequacy in the method in which they are certified.
- Capable of providing or directing training, examination, and certification of personnel in the method in which they are certified.
- Thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method in which they are certified.
- Capable of providing the necessary guidance and supervision to trainers and personnel in the technique/method in which they are certified.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems or other technology as applicable to fabrication, repair, operation and maintenance requirements.
- Efficient in record keeping and preparation of reports; capable of reviewing other people's work and determining accuracy and conformity to standards.
- Proficient in the use of the Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation Enhanced (ULLS-AE), the current maintenance management system utilized to maintain Army aircraft forms and records.
- Thorough comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
- Detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. preferred.
- Ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers.
- Excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.
- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
- May be required to lift heavy objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds
- Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications
- Will handle dirty parts and lubricants
- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to pass a Respirator Physical and Fit Test qualification
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, etc.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull minimum of 50 pounds
- May work in maintenance shop or outside
- Must be able to work in a shop where the environment is drafty, noisy, and dirty
- May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment
- May be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts or vehicles.
