Qurain AI is a growing AI automation company in Kuwait. We build done-for-you AI solutions for local businesses — chatbots, WhatsApp automation, booking systems, and document/workflow automation — connecting AI (like Claude) into real businesses and making it work end to end.

We're looking for our first AI Automation Engineer: the technical builder who turns a client's problem into a working solution — backend, AI integration, and automations — and keeps it running. Fully remote, with real room to grow: you'll be one of our first engineers, working hands-on with the newest AI tools, with a clear path toward a technical-lead role as the company grows.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backends, automations, and AI integrations for client projects
• Integrate LLM APIs (Claude / OpenAI) and implement RAG to ground AI in each client's data
• Connect systems — WhatsApp Business API, Google Sheets/Calendar, automation tools (Make / n8n)
• Build reliable, safe AI assistants in Arabic and English
• Test, document, ship, and support what you build, end to end

Skills

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong Python and/or JavaScript
• Full-stack experience (backend, databases, APIs)
• Comfortable with Git/GitHub and the terminal / command line
• Experience integrating APIs, especially LLM APIs (Claude / OpenAI)
• Willing to work AI-native — building with AI coding tools (Claude Code / Codex / Cursor), with the judgment to catch the AI's mistakes

Strong plus:

• RAG (retrieval-augmented generation)
• Automation tools (Make / n8n)
• WhatsApp Business API
• Google Sheets / Calendar integration
• Arabic + English (Arabic a strong plus)
