<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> The Leidos Defense Sector is hiring a Field Service Technician to support US Army Central G2.  The program provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems as well as network administration support for an organization comprised mostly of a Microsoft Enterprise software environment residing on multiple networks. The Field Service Technician will be part of a dynamic team supporting customers throughout the ARCENT Area of Responsibility including both U.S. and coalition personnel. This is a deployed position located at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Duty hours are 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, and are subject to local labor laws. This position also requires 24/7 on call availability, including weekends and holidays. Primary Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide Tier I and II customer service support as part of a service desk team across multiple networks, facilities, and locations (in-person telephonically or electronically submitted via ticket system); escalate incidents to higher Tier II or Tier III when required</li><li>Complete basic and advanced hardware and infrastructure work including cable management at both workstations and in-server rooms, workstation installations, checking UPS systems, replacing hardware components of laptops & desktops, basic printer maintenance, etc.</li><li>Remediate problems with Windows desktops, laptops, printers, digital senders, video teleconference systems, VOIPs</li><li>Execute basic Active Directory tasks and manage NTFS permissions such as share folder access, etc.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues with MS Office and Outlook, Adobe, Java, PKIs</li><li>Apply patches and updates to workstations both locally and remotely, and using PowerShell, RDP</li><li>Track all work in designated incident database tools & systems (such as Remedy), ensure tickets are completed accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Support In & Out process users, including creating accounts, setting up workstations, mapping drives, and printers</li><li>Schedule and de-conflict Video Teleconferences</li><li>Conduct site surveys and installation of IT equipment</li><li>Participate in or lead special projects and day‐to‐day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead, including surging to alternate locations for customer requirements or to backfill personnel during R&R or other absences</li></ul>Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience. The KC-130J Avionics/COM/NAV Technician will troubleshoot and/or repair malfunctions in the aircraft avionics/communication/navigation systems and all other supporting aircraft systems that require avionics skills and knowledge. Perform assigned maintenance to specified KC-130J standards, to include performing operational testing procedures and required functional tests in support of the KC-130J maintenance manual series. Performance abilities will include the application of troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing procedures to include the inspection and repair of aircraft wiring/wiring connector, breaker assemblies, component removal, inspection, and reinstallation. In the course of assigned duties will apply a thorough knowledge of electrical, avionics, and COM/NAV engineering principles, techniques, and methods necessary to repair and maintain aircraft, applicable equipment, and systems. Possess competent abilities in the use and application of hand tools, power tools, and associated precision measuring equipment used in support of system testing, evaluation, and operation. Possess the ability to read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, diagrams, schematics, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.Major Job Activities Description: Applies and has a thorough working knowledge of COM/NAV and avionics systems to include; aircraft modification procedures and experience with specific avionics systems, e.g., data bus, antennas, software, displays, communications/navigation equipment, systems integration, system/component failure analysis, inspection, repair, and testing of COM/NAV and electrical systems through engineering principles, techniques, and methods in the maintainability of existing KC-130J equipment and systems. Troubleshoots and/or repairs malfunctions in the aircraft avionics/communication/navigation systems and all other supporting aircraft systems that require avionics skills and knowledge, performing assigned maintenance in compliance with established directives and specified KC-130J maintenance requirement cards (MRC)s and maintenance instruction manuals (MIM)s, to include performing calibration procedures and required functional tests. Performance abilities include maintenance and serviceability procedures to supported components, to include wiring and wiring connector condition, breaker assemblies, component removal, inspection, reinstallation, and incorporates applicable technical directives and bulletins. Possess competent abilities in the use and application of hand tools, power tools, and associated precision measuring equipment used in support of system testing, evaluation, and operation, to include complying with established local tool control programs. Has a strong understanding and ability to interpret maintenance instruction manuals (MIMS) and all associated maintenance publications, orders, and directives and the processes to document such maintenance actions Read, interpret, and apply manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, diagrams, schematics, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components Use illustrated parts breakdowns (IPB)s to determine material requirements, research associated part numbers, and order parts to complete maintenance actions. Removes, troubleshoots, inspects, reinstalls, and/or replaces aircraft COM/NAV and avionics components, radios, antennas, electrical wiring, and all other associated electronic components that support the operation and use of the aircraft systems/capabilities as directed by approved maintenance manuals/procedures and/or Maintenance Control Interpret MIMs and all associated maintenance publications, orders, and directives to perform maintenance and use processes to document such maintenance actions, ensuring the accurate entry of data into the locally used computer database system. Performs applicable O and I level battery maintenance functions as required per applicable maintenance manuals. Checkout and operate all necessary support equipment for flight line maintenance of established maintenance procedures/ Conducts off station maintenance when required. The Aircraft Mechanic III performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of complex to extreme difficulty. Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components. Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph">We are seeking a Mechanical Superintendent Deep Drilling with extensive drilling equipment maintenance experience for our client in Kuwait. Position Overview: The Mechanical Superintendent Deep Drilling will oversee mechanical maintenance activities for deep drilling land rig operations, ensuring equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and safe operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Management: Supervise maintenance and repair activities for all rig mechanical systems. Develop maintenance strategies and schedules to maximize equipment availability. Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives. Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are effectively executed. Equipment Reliability: Lead troubleshooting and failure analysis activities. Coordinate major equipment overhauls and repairs. Ensure critical spare parts availability and inventory management. Support efforts to reduce non-productive time (NPT). Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with company HSE standards and maintenance procedures. Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports. Leadership: Supervise mechanical maintenance teams and contractors. Mentor and develop technical competencies within the team.
