The mandate is deliberately weighted towards controllership and financial reporting: designing the close, the chart of accounts, the reporting pack and the control framework correctly the first time, so that Kuwait scales without accumulating reporting debt.</p><p>1. Financial reporting and controllership (primary focus)</p><ul><li>Own the Kuwait books: Full accountability for the general ledger, chart of accounts, accounting manual and month-end close for the Kuwait entity, aligned to Group policy and the group accounting platform.</li><li>Deliver the monthly close: Run a disciplined close calendar with defined cut-offs, task ownership and dependencies; deliver the Kuwait reporting pack to Group Finance on the group timetable, complete with variance commentary and balance sheet substantiation.</li><li>Statutory financial statements: Prepare the Kuwait statutory financial statements and notes to a publication standard, including Arabic-language reconciliation where required, statutory reserve transfers under the Kuwait Companies Law, and full cross-reference, casting and footing checks before issue.</li><li>Group consolidation: Ensure Kuwait reports cleanly into the group consolidation intercompany reconciliation and settlement, transfer pricing support, related-party disclosure, and consistent application of group accounting policies.</li><li>Reconciliations and substantiation: Own a complete reconciliation framework: bank and payment-service provider settlement, receivables subledger to GL, merchant payables, collections and recoveries, and suspense clearing with ageing and escalation of unresolved items.</li></ul><p>2. Regulatory, tax and statutory compliance</p><ul><li>Central Bank of Kuwait reporting: Own the preparation, review and timely submission of all CBK regulatory returns and prudential reporting applicable to the licensed entity, and act as the finance counterpart on regulatory queries, inspections and information requests.</li><li>Licensing and capital: Support the licensing and authorisation process with financial projections, capital adequacy analysis and regulatory capital monitoring, and maintain compliance with minimum capital and any prudential ratios imposed on the entity. Controls, audit and risk</p><ul><li>Control environment: Design and operate the Kuwait financial control framework delegation of authority, segregation of duties, payment and journal approval workflows, and access controls in the accounting and payment systems.</li><li>External audit: Own the annual audit end to end: audit planning, PBC schedules, technical positions and memoranda, resolution of findings, and timely signed accounts.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain written accounting policies, process narratives and technical position papers so that judgements are auditable and survive personnel change.</li></ul><p>4. Deep, practical IFRS expertise with a track record of preparing IFRS financial statements and technical position papers that have withstood audit scrutiny. Hands-on IFRS 9 expected credit loss experience in a lending, consumer finance, BNPL, banking or receivables-intensive business Experience of a regulated financial-services environment, including regulatory reporting to a central bank or comparable supervisor. Working knowledge of the Kuwait regulatory, tax and statutory landscape, or clearly transferable GCC experience with the ability to get current quickly. Proven month-end close ownership with a strong reconciliation and control discipline, and evidence of having built or materially improved a close process. Comfort operating with limited infrastructure a builder who is equally willing to design the policy and clear the reconciliation. Fluent English; professional Arabic (essential for statutory, regulatory and audit interaction in Kuwait). Based in Kuwait Preferred Prior experience launching a new legal entity, licence or market including entity incorporation, systems set-up and first audit. Fintech, payments or high-growth technology experience, with an appreciation of scale, automation and data quality. Experience within a multi-entity group reporting into a central group finance function and consolidation. Exposure to receivables financing, securitisation or debt facility reporting and covenant compliance. Strong systems capability ERP implementation, reporting automation, and comfort working directly with large datasets.</p>
<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The aircraft mechanic II - powerplant/engine – back shop mechanic (T700/701C/D, T55-714) with experience in all three MDS UH60, CH47 & AH64 performs and inspects aviation unit (AVUM), intermediate (AVIM) and depot maintenance on assigned aircraft systems.</p>
<p>Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies and subassemblies of the T700/701C/D, T55-714 and auxiliary power units.</p>
<p>Inspect engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks.</p>
<p>Perform blade blending and blade replacement in cold section of powerplants.</p>
<p>Replace or repair worn or damaged components, such as generators, alternators, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves.</p>
<p>Ability to perform hot section inspections and determine replacement of hot section components (GG rotors, stators, fuel injectors, igniters, power turbine).</p>
<p>Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects.</p>
<p>Perform engine removal, replacement, reinstallation, and quick-change assembly (QCA) maintenance tasks.</p>
<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>

<li>Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience is required.</li>
<li>With A&P: two (2) years aviation maintenance experience, and two (2) years' experience on MDS UH60, CH47, & AH64 is required.</li>
<li>Without A&P: must have three (3) years aviation maintenance experience, three (3) years rotary wing aircraft experience and two (2) years on the assigned mission design series UH-60, AH-64, CH-47 (MDS) to qualify.</li>
<li>All experience must be within the five (5) most recent years.</li>
<li>Must be in possession of a valid U.S. passport for travel internationally. Passport must contain a minimum of 6 blank pages and 2 years remaining before expiration date.</li>

<p>Employee will be part of the deployment pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules.</p>
<p>Employee will assemble, disassemble, renovate, transport, load, deactivate, modify, destroy, and handle munitions including missiles, precision, and gravity bombs. Work on the installation, configuration changes, modification, repair and adjustment of aircraft armament systems and components. Perform maintenance modifications, destruction, and demilitarization of ammunition and explosive components. Operate computer hardware and software utilities and manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures. Inspect bomb release systems and missile launchers to determine need for repair or destruction in support of Reaper Series RPA maintenance.</p>

<p>The C-12/King Air Army transport aircraft mechanic (FAA A&P) services, repairs, and overhauls assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness. Uses technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and repairs or replaces faulty components.</p>
<h4>Requirements</h4>
<p>A valid FAA A&P Airframe and Powerplant certificate is required.</p>
<p>Seven years’ experience as an A&P mechanic with seven years of specific C-12/King Air (200/350/1900) turbo-prop aircraft mechanic hands-on maintenance experience is required.</p>
<p>US citizenship is required to obtain a US government secret security clearance and for facility access.</p>
<h4>Responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Operationally check repaired or modified systems for proper operation.</li>
<li>Repair and replace aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units using hand tools, power tools, machines, and associated equipment.</li>
<li>Read and interpret manufacturers and maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.</li>
<li>Examine engines for oil leaks and listen to operating engines to detect and diagnose malfunctions.</li>
<li>Inspect turbine blades to detect cracks or breaks.</li>
<li>Test engine operation using troubleshooting procedures and diagnostic test equipment to identify the source of malfunction.</li>
<li>Replace or repair worn or damaged components using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.</li>
<li>Remove and install engines from aircraft.</li>
<li>Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects.</li>
<li>Repair or replace defective engine parts and reassemble and install engines in aircraft.</li>
<li>Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.</li>
<li>May service engines and airframe components at line stations making repairs short of overhaul required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of aircraft sub-systems, including maintenance parameters, systems operation, limitations, and technical orders.</li>
<li>Ability to become qualified and perform engine runs for the aircraft type assigned to support.</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and interpret technical duties is required.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organization.</li>
<li>May specialize in work, repair, and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies.</li>
<li>Perform other qualified duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.</li>
<li>A valid FAA A&P certificate is required.</li>
<li>Seven years’ experience as an A&P mechanic with seven years of specific C-12/King Air (200/350/1900) turbo-prop aircraft mechanic hands-on maintenance experience is required.</li>
<li>Completion of formal maintenance training on the assigned C-12/King Air aircraft, qualified by the appropriate US government armed forces aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training is desired.</li>
<li>Recent full-time experience in aviation maintenance on the C-12/King Air turbo-prop aircraft during the past 12 months is required.</li>
<li>Six months of flight line and overhaul and inspection experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft-specific specifications for weight limit.</li>
<li>Mechanic tools and toolbox required; mechanics must provide their own shadowed toolbox with each tool etched with PID.</li>
<li>A valid US passport is required for deployment and travel; passport must have a minimum of 18 months remaining before expiration and must be able to obtain required visas.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass and clear CENTCOM (CRC) deployment training and Army MOD17 medical for deployment.</li>
<li>May be required to travel to and between remote locations in austere and/or hostile environments in support of mission operations.</li>
<li>Mechanic pre-employment medical requirements: all personnel performing engine runs, ground taxi, ordnance loading, or operating self-propelled support equipment within ten feet of the aircraft silhouette must pass a physical examination from a qualified medical professional prior to conducting these operations and subsequently on a specified periodic basis not to exceed five years.</li>
<li>Security clearance requirements: must be able to obtain and maintain a US government secret security clearance and facility credentials and authorization. US citizenship is required.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Physical and additional qualifications</h4>

<li>Ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft-specific specifications for weight limit.</li>

<li>May be required to carry, push, or pull up to and may exceed 50 pounds.</li>
<li>May be required to lift up to 50 pounds to a height of four feet and up to 35 pounds to a height of seven feet.</li>
<li>May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials and gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.</li>
<li>Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through email and various software applications.</li>
<li>Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depths.</li>
<li>May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.</li>
<li>Must have minimum 20/100 near and far vision, correctable to 20/20.</li>
<li>Must be capable of living and working in a potentially hostile environment for an extended period.</li>
<li>May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.</li>

Responsible for the progress and quality of assigned tasks within the environment area, including the supervision of engineers and graduates. To ensure all work carried out conforms with agreed codes and practices, meets all requirements of the contract’s specification, and ensures all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets, and procedures. To provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients for operating problems and capacity constraints in their existing oil and gas and petrochemical operations. Management, technical execution, and completion of engineering assigned tasks in a specific Environment discipline area. Assisting the project engineers in the coordination and preparation of input into the contract documents for each discipline area, including design criteria, the scope of work, procedures, and design approach Liaison and coordination with other engineers and discipline groups on the contract to effect timely production of deliverables. Manage studies and Environment-orientated projects as assigned. Development and improvement of company standards and Environment design methods. Technical writing activities, in particular, the production of technical reports and operating manuals. Training and mentoring of new Environment engineering graduates to enable them to achieve professional membership. Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil and Gas Business Unit.
