<li>Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, air-handling units, fan coil units, and exhaust systems.</li>
<li>Conduct regular preventive maintenance and respond promptly to repair requests.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot system malfunctions and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.</li>
<li>Monitor and adjust temperature control systems to maintain guest comfort.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate logs and records of maintenance and repair work.</li>

<li>Minimum 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a luxury hotel or commercial facility.</li>

<h4>What you will do</h4>
<p><strong>Administrative support</strong><br>
Organize, maintain, and control engineering files, project documentation, and technical records<br>
Assist with ordering supplies through BirchStreet and ensure timely follow-up and invoice processing<br>
Handle correspondence and manage internal email communications<br>
Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and manage communications for the Director of Engineering</p>
<p><strong>Operational support</strong><br>
Assist in preparing audits in accordance with EPP requirements and document monthly reports<br>
Coordinate cross-functional meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items<br>
Maintain engineering workflows, trackers, documentation, and logs<br>
Update and manage engineering databases, spreadsheets, and dashboards<br>
Ensure accurate version control of technical documents, drawings, and manuals<br>
Proofread and assist in preparing technical documentation<br>
Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders<br>
Support compliance with internal policies, procedures, and safety standards<br>
Manage material inventory by maintaining accurate records of spare parts, tools, and consumables, monitoring par stock levels, and conducting periodic physical stock checks in coordination with the Engineering team</p>

<p>The Director of Purchasing is responsible for leading the Purchasing, Receiving, and Storeroom operations to ensure all hotel departments have the supplies and resources needed to deliver exceptional service. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this leadership role drives procurement strategy, vendor relationships, inventory management, cost control, capital planning, and compliance while supporting operational excellence across the hotel. Additionally, develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies aligned with the hotel's Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) objectives, brand standards, and corporate sustainability commitments.</p>
<h4>What you bring</h4>
<ul>
<li>Minimum five years of hotel purchasing experience, including at least two years in a Director of Purchasing or comparable leadership role.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control experience within a hospitality environment.</li>
<li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop teams, influence stakeholders, and build strong cross-functional relationships.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>
<li>Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).</li>
<li>Preferably knowledgeable about the GCC and Kuwait markets, with an established understanding of local suppliers, sourcing practices, and market dynamics.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and procurement systems such as BirchStreet and/or Microsoft D365.</li>

<h4>What you will do:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Grow the restaurant business by working with OpenTable to optimize seating capacity and increase the business volume.</li>
<li>Drive the average check and food to beverage ratio to maximize average spend per guest.</li>
<li>Be a local ambassador, be highly connected with local concierges, real estate, transportation companies, etc.</li>
<li>Work with PR and Marketing to promote the restaurant to influencers, local concierge, business professionals and hotel guests. This also includes liaising with the Catering team to promote and execute restaurant buyouts and private dining events.</li>
<li>Entertain influencers, journalists, and business promoters.</li>
<li>Handle guest service enhancements and glitch resolution in case of guest complaints or negative comments and ensure full closure of this, to the guest's satisfaction not only while guests are dining, but with online reviews as well.</li>
<li>The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and will be able to handle and diffuse employee issues with ease.</li>
<li>Accountable for financial performance, restaurant P&L, guest satisfaction, maintaining server and culture standards and driving best practices.</li>
<li>Responsible for the development and success of the restaurant team.</li>
<li>Responsible for building the relationship with front and back of house teams and ensuring a strong partnership and active and timely communication with restaurant chef.</li>
<li>Be present at all times of high occupancy to ensure that professional, courteous and efficient guest service is offered, following the standards and sequence of service.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain adequate equipment and product par stock.</li>
<li>Ability to stay current with F&B offerings in the area and international trends in order to drive activations and pop-ups that are relevant to the market.</li>
</ul>

<li>Two plus years' experience of previous managerial experience in fast paced food and beverage setting required, preferably in a luxury resort environment. Previous experience with MICROS or other POS systems preferred.</li>
<li>Must have working knowledge of division operations, service, cost control, labor control and accounting.</li>
<li>Requires the ability to operate computer equipment and knowledge of OpenTable and Microsoft applications.</li>
<li>Elevated leadership skills and cross-cultural sensitivity, and customer service orientation.</li>

<li>Perform installation and repairs of telephones.</li>

<p>Describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste, and preparation methods.<br>
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.<br>
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.<br>
Breakdown, clean and set up tables, buffets, and food stations as well as the back-of-house areas.<br>
Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.<br>
Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.</p>
