<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p> <strong> <u>Job Summary:</u> </strong> </p> <p>Carry out general activities related to lifting, rigging &amp; slinging of all loads lifted and moved by cranes and other lifting equipment, housekeeping, chipping, painting and repair of equipment in a proper &amp; timely manner to ensure a safe &amp; efficient operation.</p> <p> <strong> <u>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</u> </strong> </p> <p> <strong>General duties:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Performs general duties in such a manner which results in achieving the operating plan and objectives set forth by the Driller and STP that includes Safety, operating expectation and rig appearance and housekeeping.</li> <li>Assists other rig departments such as the drilling crew on rig floor, welder, Maintenance Team, etc.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Lifting Operations:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Hook on loads for the crane and forklift operators and act as a banksman when required. </li> <li>Assist crane and forklift operators in off-loading and loading all drilling materials and supplies as required. </li> <li>Comply and apply safe rigging &amp; slinging practices, from pre-lift requirements, wire inspections, correct use of taglines, proper use of hands-free tools and body placements, and the use of verbal and hand signaling methods.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Rig Move:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Carry out relevant duties and activities to prepare for rig moves as directed by the Driller.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Drilling / Work-over Operations:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Assists in operations for preparing drilling mud activities including mixing chemicals at the mixing hopper, cleaning out mud pits, etc.</li> <li>Assist in completing the cleaning, preparation and handling of tubulars and drilling tools. Supply the drill floor with tubulars, drilling tools and equipment as required.</li> <li>Liaise and co-operate with the Driller and Assistant Driller to ensure the safe and smooth running of operations.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Materials &amp; Equipment:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Ensures that lifting material and equipment are properly maintained, stored, inspected, and returned to its proper storage location in a condition where its ready to be used as per directed.</li> <li>Ensure thread protectors are properly installed on drill pipes, drill collars &amp; crossovers that are being hoisted or stored.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Housekeeping:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Ensures that the work area is clean and organized, free of hazards prior to &amp; upon completing the work tasks, or repairs.</li> <li>Ensure that housekeeping standards in all areas are in accordance with Company requirements.</li> <li>Disposes of debris as per the company hazardous material segregations policy/waste management policy taking into consideration the environmental &amp; safety aspects.</li> <li>Prepare surfaces for painting and apply paint as directed. </li> <li>Secure the current work area or operation before evacuating during emergency situations or drill.</li> </ul> <p> <strong> <u>Job Requirements:</u> </strong> </p> <p> <strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>High School or Technical Degree</li> <li>Preferably 1 year of working experience preferably in similar Oil and Gas industries.</li> <li>Minimum age 20 years up to 27 years old.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Skills/Competencies Required:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Elementary level of English language.</li> <li>Basic Mathematical skills adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying .</li> <li>Situation Awareness / self-motivation, Teamwork, Time management / Managing work.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders).</li> <li>Frequent lifting, pulling &amp; pushing as per Company procedure.</li> <li>Ability to work under different extreme weather conditions such as: Heat, Noise, Humidity &amp; Cold.</li> <li>Ability to work in day/night shifts.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Certifications:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>As per ADES Training Matrix.</li> </ul></div></section>

<p><h4>Division / Project</h4> <p>KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a HSE Supervisor for a 5-year PMC contract for the supply of Programme Management services with Kuwait Oil Company. The contract serves to support KOC to achieve its objectives of reaching optimum capacity in its oilfields and enhancing its facilities by the most efficient and economical means available.</p> <p>The contract aims to provide project management, co-ordination, planning, design, engineering, construction management, contracting, procurement, project controls and other services for construction of new oil field facilities, upgrading of existing facilities, and transfer of technology.</p> <h4>Primary Objectives</h4> <ul> <li>Identification and control of HSE issues on construction sites</li> <li>To coordinate implementation of the KOC PMC Safety policies, HSE Management System and Project specific HSE Management Plans as they apply to the project</li> <li>Ensure that the site complies with the relevant HSE legislation and KOC HSE requirements</li> </ul> <h4>Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills</h4> <ul> <li>Diploma in Engineering or B. Sc. Degree</li> <li>Candidate who successfully passed high school with an IOSH or NEBOSH certification from a recognized and reputed institute, with minimum 15 years experience, including seven (7) years’ experience as HSE personnel in the relevant field can also be considered for the position</li> <li>Minimum 10 years total post-graduation experience</li> <li>Minimum 5 years oil & gas post-graduation experience</li> <li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HSE Supervisor role</li> <li>Must have successfully completed one or more certified HSE course(s) in any category of training in general industrial safety, construction safety, environmental management, industrial hygiene, ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, IOSH, ASSE Certificate in Global Safety Management or equivalent courses</li> <li>Practical experience in identification and control of HSE issues on construction sites within oil & gas or similar industries</li> <li>Experience in HSE reporting procedures and familiar with the safety hazards with common construction activities</li> </ul> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Identification and control of HSE issues on construction sites</li> <li>Monitor the EPC contractor HSE Management System and provide advice and assistance to EPC HSE managers so they comply in a consistent way to reduce the risk to the project employees and the environment</li> <li>Provide advice and guidance to the EPC contractor management team on HSE issues through the interpretation of KOC policies and statutory requirements</li> <li>Monitor compliance with all Kuwait legislative requirements including the dissemination of information to PMC and EPC managers and employees regarding amendments/additions to requirements as they come into effect</li> <li>Develop and maintain professional relationships with KOC, regulatory bodies and EPC contractors to foster the professional image of KBR</li> <li>Visit the project site on a regular basis to ensure interest and awareness of HSE is maintained, conduct regular safety talks and safety training sessions relative to the nature of activities being undertaken</li> <li>Pro-actively visit site and with the EPC contractor implement safety measures to promote and ensure safe work practices</li> <li>Ensure quality safety observation program is implemented and maintained on each site/project and ensure follow up on findings</li> <li>Assist EPC contractor construction management personnel in identifying hazards and in planning and organizing the work such that a safe working environment is maintained</li> <li>Assist EPC sub-contractor safety advisors and site management in the development and revision of specific site safety programmes</li> <li>Disseminate safety information throughout the workplace via bulletin boards, posters, newsletters, etc.</li> <li>Assist EPC contractor line management and our construction supervisors in accident investigation process and report accordingly</li> <li>Monitor the availability and use of safety apparel and equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Decarbonization – Energy Transition – Sustainability</strong></p> <p><strong>Belong.
