<p>About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily marine construction activities including dredging, piling, rock filling, quay wall construction, and subsea pipeline support works. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, practical knowledge of marine operations, and the ability to manage site crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily marine construction activities including dredging, piling, rock dumping, quay wall construction, and pipeline support works
• Manage site crews including foremen, operators, riggers, and general workers; assign tasks and monitor productivity
• Ensure all activities comply with approved method statements, drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors for smooth execution of marine works
• Monitor marine plant and equipment including barges, excavators, cranes, tugs, and dredgers
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections of equipment and ensure all machinery is in safe working condition
• Enforce HSE protocols including permits, toolbox talks, PPE compliance, and emergency procedures
• Monitor material deliveries including rock, aggregates, concrete, and steel; ensure proper handling and storage
• Maintain accurate daily records including work progress, manpower, equipment usage, and materials consumed
• Report delays, incidents, or technical issues to the Construction Manager or Project Engineer
• Liaise with survey teams for positioning, bathymetry, and as-built verification
• Ensure vessels and barges are properly moored, secured, and compliant with safety regulations
• Coordinate with marine coordinators for vessel movements and logistics
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project specifications
• Participate in daily progress meetings and provide input on construction sequences
• Mentor and guide junior staff and crew members
• Ensure site housekeeping and organization at all times
• Assist in preparing daily and weekly progress reports for project management</p><p>Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in marine construction, dredging, or offshore projects
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methods including piling, dredging, rock filling, concrete works, and subsea operations
• Experience with marine equipment including barges, excavators, cranes, dredgers, and tugs
• Understanding of safety regulations including SOLAS, MARPOL, and local marine requirements
• Valid offshore safety certifications (BOSIET/HUET) preferred if working offshore
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and risk assessment procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of planning software is an advantage
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a plus
• Valid driver's license is preferred

<p>The Toolpusher I assists in managing the safe and efficient drilling operation of the rig, and acts as Senior Toolpusher in his or her absence.</p><p>Assists in supervising drilling operations, ensuring efficient conduct and compliance with the Company drilling procedures and health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Monitors rig-ups. Monitors the condition and maintenance of the drilling equipment and support machinery at all times; oversees field-permitted rig repairs. Makes decisions on progress of drilling based on threats to safety and accuracy of the drilling program. Observes the conduct and work performance of the drilling crew to ensure safe and efficient performance. Carries out routine inspections and corrects or reports all hazards. Takes action to safeguard the well and drilling equipment during a fire or other emergency. Verifies preventative maintenance performance and operational readiness of drilling equipment through work observations and inspections. Supervises and tests the installation of casing and blowout prevention (BOP) equipment. Monitors adequacy of drilling operation supplies; requisitions supply materials. Monitors environmental protection per Company standards and local regulations.</p><p><strong>Drilling Reports</strong></p><p>Maintains drilling journals, logs, and reports as directed. Assists in preparation of the IADC reports and Toolpusher s Weekly Inspection Report. Compiles the daily drilling report and daily pump report.</p><p><strong>Safety</strong></p><p>Participates in the Safety Training Observation Program (S.T.O.P.) and the weekly, operational, and pre-tour safety meetings. Participates and assists in providing safety training. Develops and implements Job Safety Analyses and prepares risk assessments for drilling tasks; implements applicable control measures. Coordinates and conducts well control and general safety drills according to Company policies and procedures. Performs, documents, and reports accident investigations; recommends corrective actions.</p><p><strong>General Management</strong></p><p>Keeps rig manager informed of progress on assigned tasks and current conditions; prepares hand-over notes for relief. Helps supervise the drilling crew; coordinates and assigns their work activities. Ensures crews are trained and qualified for their jobs according to the Company, statutory, and client requirements; makes certain that Assistant Drillers and Drillers possess approved and current Well Control Certificates. Delegates and performs on-the-job training. Recommends drilling crew members for further training and possible promotion. Maintains effective communication with drilling crew and keeps them informed. Reviews and authorizes work permits.</p><p><strong>Other</strong></p><p>Participates as a member of the rig s emergency response team responsible for well safety; advises rig manager on drilling-related matters and coordinates the drilling team s emergency response activities. Maintains effective customer relationships. Maintains updated knowledge of all local regulations, codes, and standards, and ensures rig and personnel are in compliance. Responsible for the control and safe conduct of rig operations. Performs all duties in accordance with the Permit to Work System. Performs other duties and special projects as requested by management.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or educational equivalent is preferred.</p><p><strong>Professional Experience:</strong></p><p><strong>Skills Technical:</strong> Must have 3 or more years experience as a Driller and Toolpusher in Kuwait with 3000 HP Rig.</p><p><strong>Skills Communication:</strong> Bi-lingual is preferred (English, Arabic) Verbal communication skills necessary.</p><p><strong>Skills People:</strong> Ability to interact with individuals in a cross-cultural environment. Leadership and employee development skills. Team oriented.</p><p><strong>Licenses, Certifications, Credentials, and Other Requirements:</strong> Well Control Certificate of Competency at Supervisor s Level is required. Certified in all required safety training programs and firefighting . Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.</p>
