<p>Guildhall is recruiting for Procurement Manager to join a commercial team in Kuwait, Head Office. The company is a global top leading contractor company, renowned for delivering some of the region's largest and most complex landmark construction and infrastructure projects.
This role is responsible for managing the procurement of construction materials, specialist subcontract packages, and major suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial, contracts, engineering, and site teams to ensure procurement activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.</p><p>- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-12 years of procurement experience within the construction industry.
- Proven experience working for main contractors on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, project sequencing, and site operations.
- Hands-on experience procuring specialist construction packages such as: MEP, Facade / Curtain Wall, Aluminium Works, Raised Flooring, and other specialist subcontract packages
- Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements with specialist subcontractors and suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tendering, commercial evaluations, and contract administration.
- Experience working closely with commercial, quantity surveying, and project delivery teams during live construction projects.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
