The Systems Administrator II is responsible for the administration and operational support for servers, workstations and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment. The candidate must be able to coordinate, troubleshoot and oversee system backups, hardware installation, software installation, and system upgrades. The position will require individuals to solve complex technology problems, providing solutions and mentorship to internal and external customers that will have a positive impact on the day-to-day efficiencies. The Systems Administrator maintains exceptional conduct, discipline, and communicate effectively with a diverse work force to perform assigned tasks. Responsibilities + Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include, but is not limited. + to, Microsoft 2008 Active Directory, Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), Domain Name System (DNS), Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), print queues, etc. + Responsible for the daily administration of Exchange servers (2008 or higher) and Outlook Web Access (OWA). + Management of Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) or Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). + Uses VERITAS Backup Exec to conduct file server backup and restores. + Maintains systems availability and performs regular maintenance on equipment. + Proficient at hardware maintenance and troubleshooting of various vendor server platforms including Dell, HP, LTO tape library, fiber switch, and SANs. + Maintains antivirus and security requirements by the US Army standards and regulations. + Provides user and Microsoft Exchange account maintenance as required. + Establishes shift schedules. + Performs employee appraisals, training records and is well versed with the V2X Leadership guide. + Performs other duties and assignments as required. Under the general direction of the Fire Chief, responsible for implementing LOGCAP V Fire Protection Plan and ensuring emergency response operations are conducted within the guidelines stipulated by this plan and the Emergency Management Plans. Reports directly to the Assistant Fire Chief of Operations. Directs and leads firefighters during firefighting operations, rescue operations, hazardous materials incidents and other related emergencies events. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Implements the fire protection programs that conform to the Performance Work Statement. Implements and maintains a safe workplace, ensuring safety is the highest priority. Complies with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements and goals. Provide onboard leadership and direction for department leaders, for meeting the client drilling program requirements while considering company procedures and allocated rig budget. Roles & Responsibilities: Rig Operations: Organize and supervise the activities of drilling, moving and maintenance departments of the drilling unit to effectively carry out management and command functions in compliance with company procedures. Communicates with the Rig Manager in reviewing and discussing the client s projected well program before operations commence and throughout the well as necessary to stay abreast of pertinent operational activities and time factors. Ensure well programs, schedules are well known to the drilling crew and adequate written instructions are given and that necessary rig procedures, including JSA and PTW are prepared on time and with good quality for the actual operations. Ensure that necessary Management of Change or Deviation is approved in Synergi prior to operation starts. Manage & review the execution of the drilling program in coordination with Client Representative and rig department heads through the daily operations plans (IADC logs). Make all decisions in conjunction with departments heads regarding utilization of equipment, making sure the rig and support equipment is properly maintained and fit for purpose. Ensure the availability of the optimum quantity of rig supplies, parts, materials, fuel, lubricants, potable water for the drilling program are onboard. Determines when to cease resume operations, as per company procedures in cooperation with the Rig Manager. Plan, approve, and supervise rig activities such as equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance program, repairs, daily maintenance of drilling fluids, etc. Ensure all activities are coordinated with minimal loss of time or effort. Overseeing that space-out drawings are correct and are posted in the drillers cabin. Overseeing that post-jarring sheet are filled out and understood by night Tool pusher and driller. Rig Move: Plan all related rigs move activities, equipment, supplies, personnel in compliance with the Rig move Procedures. Assesses the current and new location, considering factors such as safety, lifting equipment availability at location, preparation for rig-up operations, Supervise the Rig move team during rigging down and rigging up activities to ensure they are followed efficiently and safely. Management of Major Emergencies: Acts as the command team leader during emergency situations, through leading the Rig s emergency response teams as detailed on the Emergency Plan and Company Procedures. Tool Control, HAZMAT, FOD, MetCal, etc ) as required by local policies.<br>Must be willing and able to comply with all program functional requirements to include but not limited to:<br>The performance of I Level maintenance functions in support of In-Flight Refueling Reel/system maintenance, NLG & MLG Tire re-building, MLG Brake repair/rebuilding, Battery maintenance support, and Oxygen Regulator testing/repair.<br>Must be willing and able to deploy off-site as required to support Kuwait Air Force operations.<br>Must be willing to work flexible hours, to include day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required.<br>Must have the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and follow instructions when directed on assigned tasks.<br>Must have skills and aptitude to cross train and/or support other maintenance technicians in completing assigned maintenance actions, to include but not limited to:<br>The performance and completion of daily inspections (including the ability to inspect/sign off on all associated aircraft maintenance/technician specialties), marshalling/recovering aircraft, fueling, towing, mooring, and conducting post flight procedures to ensure aircraft are properly secured upon completion of maintenance.<br>As a Subject Matter Expert, must be willing to perform in-depth research, troubleshoot, and perform O and I level maintenance functions on all applicable aircraft systems and components necessary to return aircraft to a Full Mission Capable status; this includes determining material requirements, researching part numbers, ordering, tracking, and receiving materials as required to facilitate aircraft inspections/repairs.<br>Must be able to communicate directly with the customer, pilots, air crew members, management, and maintenance personnel to gather and relay pertinent data/information necessary to ensure aircraft depart timely and launches are not delayed.<br>Must have an in-depth knowledge of aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications.<br>Must have an in-depth knowledge (aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards) of flight line operations.<br>Must be able to overcome cultural differences and to think outside the box, innovate, and provide solutions to the many complex problems and obstacles associated with international contracting and desert climate operations.<br>Must perform as a team member, contributing to the success of the C-130J maintenance department.<br>Must be dependable and timely in managing assigned tasks, perform consistent quality maintenance.<br>Must have a proven ability to work independently with minimal direction.</p>
