Support multiple PL operations in a collaborative optimized program design. Assist in incident response, recovery, and incident investigation. Understand, communicate, and implement new technologies for the project. Analyze job execution versus design and formally capture design improvements and optimization opportunities. Participate in selection and evaluation of service companies, suppliers, and equipment. Ensure proper communication with relevant parties (i.e., Customer, PLs, third-parties, etc.) Participate in HARCs and other risk assessment methodology. Forecast and plan medium- and long-term needs to meet program requirements Anticipate operational changes and needs and revise the plan accordingly. Manage and monitor daily operational progress (i.e., scope, time, cost and quality) versus plan and provide recommendations for improvements utilizing new technology options where appropriate. Evaluate results versus objectives, focusing on service companies and key contractors performance. Perform engineering studies to solve recurring well problems and initiate engineering corrective actions for continuous improvement. <p><h4>Division / Project</h4> <p>KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Lead Construction Engineer – Civil Structural assigned to one of the buildings construction projects within the PMC contract for the supply of programme management services with Kuwait Oil Company.</p> <h4>Primary objectives</h4> <p>Development and management of construction and completions capability across PMC projects ensuring that design integrity is not compromised while managing the department in the execution of the process.</p> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Promote and drive the involvement of construction in areas of technical design, schedule, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a familiarity and appreciation of capability and ongoing workload of construction’s support providers / contractors.</li> <li>Develop and maintain functional responsibility for all construction and completions personnel.</li> <li>Overall supervision of construction engineers.</li> <li>Technical competence of construction personnel.</li> <li>Forecast requirement for construction engineering resources and allocating those resources.</li> <li>Prepare man hour estimates to perform project tasks.</li> <li>Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.</li> <li>Technical supervision of project designated construction engineers in the execution of their duties.</li> <li>Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.</li> <li>Quality assurance – responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the quality assurance system.</li> <li>Safety – responsible for personal safety and safe working practices.
