<p>About the Role: We are seeking a competent Site Engineer specializing in civil pipeline works for marine GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipe installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of GRP pipelines in marine and offshore environments, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety requirements. If this position has identified such areas, he or she should take ownership.</li> <li>Facilitate independent review and certification of Project Quality Management Systems in line with corporate, legislative or customer requirements.</li> </ul> <strong>Customer Relationships</strong><br> <p>Ensure that the customer’s quality management requirements and concerns and the needs of multiple stakeholders are being identified and managed by the Project Team effectively.</p> <strong>Resources</strong><br> <ul> <li>In conjunction with the Project Management Team and the Location Quality Manager, recruit and allocate quality practitioners to project verification and inspection roles to ensure these activities are suitably resourced.</li> <li>Ensure that new quality practitioners are effectively inducted in all aspects that relate to the quality aspects of the project.</li> </ul> <strong>Performance Management</strong><br> <ul> <li>In conjunction with the Project Management Team and the Location Quality Manager, provide functional leadership for project quality personnel.</li> <li>Strengthen and coach project quality personnel to support development, management and administration of project quality management systems in response to project and customer expectations.</li> </ul> <h4>Qualifications / Experience:</h4> <ul> <li>Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline) from an accredited university.</li> <li>Minimum 8 years of total experience post graduate studies.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer or equivalent.</li> <li>Must have experience in inspections of all stages of projects in oil & gas installations and construction QA/QC works.</li> <li>Must have experience in developing, updating and maintaining in-house technical standards and specifications.</li> <li>Fully conversant with NDE requirements and sour environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with ISO 9000 and 14000 series and international standards relevant to the oil and gas industry.</li> <li>Excellent written, coordination and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> <h4>Moving forward together</h4> <p>We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
