<p>The Data Center Electrical Engineer is responsible for the engineering-level ownership, reliability, safety, and performance of the data center electrical power infrastructure, from the utility intake through to the rack level. The role manages electrical maintenance strategy, switching procedures, electrical safety programs, vendor activities, spare parts planning, and system performance. The Electrical Engineer also directs the electrical manning technicians, authorizes and leads critical switching operations, and acts as the electrical authority during incidents and escalations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Take engineering ownership of the data center electrical infrastructure, including MV/LV distribution systems, HV/MV switchgear, GIS/AIS, transformers, RMUs, UPS systems, STS/ATS systems, generators, fuel systems, batteries, and protection systems.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and control electrical switching procedures.</li><li>Authorize, lead, and supervise HV/MV and critical LV switching operations.</li><li>Manage the arc flash and electrical safety program for the data center.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with Lockout/Tagout, LOTO, Permit to Work, PTW, and electrical isolation requirements.</li><li>Develop and manage the annual electrical Planned Preventive Maintenance, PPM, program in line with OEM recommendations.</li><li>Coordinate generator load-bank testing and generator readiness programs in accordance with NFPA 110.</li><li>Prepare, review, and maintain electrical Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs, Methods of Procedure, MOPs, and Emergency Operating Procedures, EOPs.</li><li>Review and approve the safe execution of electrical procedures and maintenance activities.</li><li>Coordinate electrical maintenance vendors and supervise OEM major services, testing, repairs, and equipment overhauls.</li><li>Develop and maintain the spare-parts and critical-inventory plan for electrical systems.</li><li>Analyze electrical system performance, protection settings, load profiles, power usage, and equipment capacity.</li><li>Identify and implement opportunities for energy optimization and improved electrical system performance.</li><li>Lead root cause analysis for electrical faults, failures, alarms, and service interruptions.</li><li>Develop and follow up corrective and preventive actions arising from electrical incidents.</li><li>Direct, support, develop, and train the electrical manning technicians.</li><li>Support integrated systems Job description:<br><br> What you will be doing Understand the project requirements, scope of work, project delivery schedule, project deliverables, etc. Develop a thorough understanding of client design requirements prior to the commencement of designproject. Coordinate with the Lead / Senior ELV Engineer for further clarifications on design requirements. Share the heat dissipation calculation with the Lead/Senior ELV Engineer. Revise the report based on client’s comments (if required). Share the electrical load requirements with the Lead/Senior ELV Engineer. Review data collection drawings / documents about the existing utilities around the project. Respond to site RFIs related to design. Review the drawings prepared by the modelers and ensure that all the client’s and authorities’requirements are respected. Also ensure that all the contractual obligations are followed. Maintain continuous quality control on all drawings produced under the section, ensuring that they adhereto PACE quality and CAD standards (e.g., high standards of visual presentation, error free, properlydimensioned, x-referenced etc.) Ensure that ELV Model is shared every Thursday as per Pace protocol with all the discipline working on theproject for coordination. Coordinate the major space requirements for the ELV services such as but not limited to MOC Room, Main Server Room, Security Control Room, IDF rooms, etc. with the project Architects. Assist in conducing site surveys (as and when required) to investigate the layout of existing ELV systemsprior to design. Assist on site ELV engineers by responding to technical queries which they raise. Attend project coordination workshops, and site visits during the project design and implement theoutcome of the same in the design. Coordinate with HVAC Engineer for smoke zones used in the project and ensure that the Fire Alarm Zoneare in line with the smoke zones. Coordinate with the Architects and receive the area schedules and other project information. Ensure all the project deliverables are fulfilled during the different project submission stages. <p>About the Role: We are seeking a competent Site Engineer specializing in civil pipeline works for marine GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipe installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of GRP pipelines in marine and offshore environments, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety requirements. <p>Installs and maintains low-voltage (480/277, 600 volts) and below (50/60 HZ) single and multi-phase power wiring. Installs feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring for red and black installations.
