Our work depends on an Ammunition Manager Assistant joining our team to support the Customer's equipment operations and missions.<br>HOW AN AMMUNITION MANAGER ASSISTANT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT<br>● Assist U.S. Government regarding supply, inventory, and stockpile management for all U.S. Army ammunition stocks in USCENTCOM to include storage levels, establishing and setting theater stockage objectives, training ammunition supply support, central requisitioning, force modernization, asset stratification, asset movement, disposition, re-distribution, retrograde, call forward, foreign military sales, maintenance, demilitarization, and disposal instructions<br>● Provide management and asset visibility, through the use of all specified ammunition management automation sites and systems to include but not limited to, Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS), Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS), Munitions History Program (MHP), National Level Ammunition Capability (NLAC).</p><br><p>● Identify shortages and recommend resupply actions, monitor on hand stocks for theater war reserves, operational and training ammunition, and keep accountability and visibility of all munitions within US CENTCOM</p><br><p>● Track the shipments of ammunition by air, ground, and by sea vessel within the theater. Provide Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft PowerPoint slides that show ammunition stock levels. <p>HOW AN SSA MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT</p><p>Monitors and execute daily SSA operations including receiving, storage, issuing, and turn-ins and COMSEC.</p><p>Conducts issuing, receiving, inventory management, cyclic counts, causative research, and discrepancy resolution.</p><p>Processes, validates, and manages all supply transactions within GCSS-Army.</p><p>Coordinates with supported units, maintenance activities, and higher headquarters to ensure timely materiel support.</p><p>Maintains historical stock records and prepares operational supply reports.</p><p>Implements and enforces SSA SOPs, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.</p><p>Conducts shelf-life management, controlled items handling, and compliance activities.</p><p>Analyzes supply trends, demand history, and customer wait times to optimize operations.</p><p>Manages transportation coordination for materiel movement, including retrograde, lateral transfers, and receipts.</p><p>Ensures HAZMAT documentation, packaging, and regulatory compliance for outbound shipments.</p><p>Supports intermodal and host-nation logistics operations including port clearance and container management.</p><p>Maintains audit readiness and ensures adherence to AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-2, AR 735-5, ARCENT policy, and theater directives.</p><p>Participates in logistics boards, readiness briefings, and cross-functional coordination meetings.</p><p>Maintains accountability, safety, and operational continuity in austere or extreme-heat environments.</p><p>CERTIFICATIONSHAZMAT / HAZCOM certification( able to obtain after hire)</p><p>Theater-required certifications (AT, OPSEC, Cyber, etc.).</p><p>Forklift / MHE certification (if supporting warehouse operations- able to obtain after hire).</p><p>WORKING ENVIRONMENT</p><p>Work is conducted in warehouse, yard, or outdoor environments with exposure to physical, environmental, and heat-related hazards. <p>The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and performance of all Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) operations at an assigned location within the Southwest Asia Area of Responsibility (AOR).
