<p>Perform maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of heavy and light vehicles . Diagnose mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair and service engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems . Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance according to scheduled maintenance plans. Inspect vehicles to identify faults and recommend necessary repairs or replacement of parts. Troubleshoot diesel and petrol engine-related mechanical problems . Repair and maintain heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, buses, and other commercial vehicles , as applicable. Repair and maintain light vehicles such as cars, vans, pickups, and SUVs .
