<p>The MIR will provide in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting skills required to resolve complex Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) electronic and mechanical problems. The MIR will provide day-to-day execution on the Kuwait Patriot TA program as well as demonstrate the ability to perform depot level diagnostic, fault isolation, cleanup and repair capability for Patriot Weapon System MEIs. The MIR must affect all electronic repairs on location with detailed system knowledge, the ability to use all the hardware and software tools currently available to Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance. This position also requires logistics experience as the role is to provide logistics support and services, logistics provisioning, analysis, data, and guidance. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p><strong>Preventive Maintenance</strong></p><br><ul><li>Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with the hotel's Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house, and engineering plant rooms.</li><li>Identify equipment deterioration and perform proactive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.</li><li>Ensure maintenance activities are completed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and engineering standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Corrective Maintenance</strong></p><br><ul><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests through the hotel's work order system.</li><li>Diagnose faults and perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems.</li><li>Restore equipment and facilities to operational condition with minimal disruption to hotel operations.</li><li>Escalate specialized repairs beyond the scope of the role to the Engineering Supervisor.</li></ul><p><span><strong>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</strong></span></p><br><p>Daily Inspections</p><br><ul><li>Attend the Engineering daily briefing and review assigned work orders.</li><li>Inspect guestrooms, public areas, plant rooms, and back-of-house facilities.</li><li>Monitor the condition and performance of building systems and equipment.</li><li>Check for safety hazards, leaks, abnormal noises, equipment alarms, and operational deficiencies.</li></ul><p>Maintenance Activities</p><br><ul><li>Carry out preventive maintenance as scheduled.</li><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests from operational departments.</li><li>Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and minor civil defects.</li><li>Replace defective components such as lamps, switches, valves, taps, filters, thermostats, belts, and motors where applicable.</li><li>Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.</li></ul><p>Guest Support</p><br><ul><li>Respond courteously and professionally to guest maintenance requests.</li><li>Complete guestroom repairs with minimal inconvenience to guests.</li><li>Maintain a high standard of workmanship and cleanliness while working in occupied areas.</li></ul><p>Documentation</p><br><ul><li>Complete work orders and preventive maintenance records accurately.</li><li>Report recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Notify the Engineering Supervisor of major repair requirements or spare parts needed.</li></ul><p>Safety &amp; Housekeeping</p><br><ul><li>Follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures where applicable.</li><li>Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li><li>Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.</li><li>Ensure compliance with hotel health, safety, and environmental standards.</li></ul><p><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><br><p><strong>Education</strong></p><br><ul><li>Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Building Services, or a related technical field.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><br><ul><li>Minimum <strong>2–3 years</strong> of maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, or facilities environment.</li><li>Experience in multi-skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.</li><li>Previous hospitality experience is preferred.</li></ul><br> </div>

Oil &amp; Gas experience will be an added advantage.</li><li>Serves as a member of firefighting and control crew operating in case of fire or emergency in assigned areas. Works under conditions of extreme personal hazards at any location within facility jurisdiction.</li><li>Ability to operate fixed fire protection systems via electrical/mechanical means.</li><li>Control breathing, use SCBA in limited visibility conditions, replace SCBA air cylinders, use SCBA to exit through restricted passages, initiate and complete emergency procedures in the event of SCBA failure or air depletion, and complete donning procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2> <div data-jb-field="skills"><ul><li>Ability to operate charged hose lines of <b>63 mm (2 ½ in.) diameter or larger</b>; couple and uncouple various handline connections; carry hose; attack fires; and locate and suppress hidden fires.</li><li>Ability to prepare a foam concentrate supply for use and assemble foam stream components.</li><li>Ability to operate a special agent supply system (example: <b>Hydro-Chem operations</b>).</li><li>Understanding of different types of alarms, implementing the appropriate response, and providing information through communications.</li><li>Ability to operate disentanglement tools, initiate protective measures, identify and eliminate points of entrapment, and maintain incident stability and scene safety (Vehicle rescue).</li><li>Ability to identify entry and exit points and probable victim locations, and assess and evaluate the impact of vehicle stability on the incident (Vehicle rescue).</li><li>Fluent in written and spoken <b>English</b>.
