<p><h4>Job summary</h4>
<p>Employee will be part of the deployment pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules.</p>
<p>Employee will assemble, disassemble, renovate, transport, load, deactivate, modify, destroy, and handle munitions including missiles, precision, and gravity bombs. Work on the installation, configuration changes, modification, repair and adjustment of aircraft armament systems and components. Perform maintenance modifications, destruction, and demilitarization of ammunition and explosive components. Operate computer hardware and software utilities and manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures. Inspect bomb release systems and missile launchers to determine need for repair or destruction in support of Reaper Series RPA maintenance.</p>
<p>Additionally, employee may conduct inspection, maintenance, and storage of munitions and support equipment. Support weapons loading and armament systems and related matters. Support quality assurance, compliance, continuity, and standardization of munitions programs. Attend weapons safety course, load certification and related activities. Provide technical inputs to managers in matters of weapons management, inventory, and maintenance, loading, and armament systems. Assist with availability and serviceability of munitions to support emerging customer requirements.</p>
<p>USAF equivalent position is Munitions/Weapons Technician Apprentice.</p>
<h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>

<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The Army Aviation GSE - Ground Support Equipment Mechanic diagnoses malfunctions and repairs ground support equipment.</p>
<p>Three (3) years of aviation GSE experience in the last six (6) years. Actual and recent aviation-related experience in the repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul of related equipment being serviced and their associated components (APUs, etc).</p>
<p>Inspects and approves completed maintenance actions, solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications.</p>
<p>Uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions, and analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs GSE using conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.</p>
<p>Maintains external fuel and grounding systems.</p>
<p>Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE - inspects, tests, and operates GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation.</p>
<p>Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air.</p>
<p>Diagnoses mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications.</p>

Lastly, this position requires an individual that can apply basic technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting Air Force technical orders, manufacturers’ manuals/instructions or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs.</p>
<p>Member will inspect, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft engines, and other critical components to ensure airworthiness. Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, landing gear, power plants/trains, fuel systems, and functional components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills.</p>
<p>Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions, including cracked components, oil leaks, etc.; diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes and correct breaks; test engine operations, use test equipment to locate source of malfunction(s). <p>US citizenship is required to obtain a US government secret security clearance and for facility access.</p>
<p>Operationally checks repaired or modified systems for proper operation.</p>
<p>Repair and replace aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and associated equipment.</p>
<p>Read and interpret manufacturers and maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.</p>
<p>Examine engines for oil leaks and listen to operating engines to detect and diagnose malfunctions. Inspect turbine blades to detect cracks or breaks.</p>
<p>Test engine operation, using troubleshooting procedures and diagnostic test equipment, to identify source of malfunction.</p>

<li>Six (6) months of flight line and overhaul & inspection experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit.</li>
<li>Mechanic tools/toolbox required; mechanics must provide their own shadowed toolbox with each tool etched with PID.</li>
<li>A valid US passport is required for deployment/travel to Kuwait; passport must have a minimum of 18 months remaining before expiration date and must be able to obtain Kuwait visa.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass and clear CENTCOM (CRC) deployment training and Army MOD17 medical for deployment. Ability to clear the Army MOD 17 medical is required for deployment to Kuwait and will occur while attending CRC (DIDC) deployment training.</li>
<li>May be required to travel to and between remote locations in austere and/or hostile environments, in support of mission operations.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Mechanic Pre-employment Medical Requirements (AR95-20)</h4>
<p>Medical/Physical: All personnel performing engine runs, ground taxi, ordnance loading, or operating self-propelled support equipment within ten (10) feet of the aircraft silhouette must pass a physical examination from a qualified medical professional prior to conducting these operations, and subsequently on a specified periodic basis, not to exceed five (5) years.</p>
<h4>Security Clearance Requirements</h4>
<p>Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government secret security clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization. US citizenship is required to hold a US government secret clearance and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility.</p>
<h4>Physical and Additional Qualifications</h4>

<p>The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to support our mission critical program in Kuwait. As the selected candidate, you will provide management, customers, and sub-contractors with basic logistics technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment and systems. Responsibilities: Analyzes various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs. Conducts complex inventory, distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times. Collects, processes, and maintains data for analysis. Develops enterprise and/or program-level supply chain reports and metrics in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, and delivery processes for senior management. Identifies, evaluates and develops procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives. Recommends improvements to existing or planned logistics processes. Monitors the external environment and internal trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) in the supply chain. Provides detailed analysis of end-to-end performance. Documents, tracks and reports the flow of materials and equipment between requestor, approver, buyer, vendor, freight forwarder, receiving HUB and receiving site to ensure items are being delivered from the vendor, properly received at the freight forwarder, receipts and invoices match and payments are authorized in a timely manner. Monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to assist in the development of strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates. Provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals. Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers. Point of contact for order status to requestors, and supply-chain related queries to procurement and freight forwarders. Interacts with customers to understand their distribution network. May participate in inter-departmental task forces charged with improving supply chain performance. Develops new and refines existing internal analysis tools. Provides leadership and guidance to lower level analysts as needed. Knowledge in shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures and accounting procedures. Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports. Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents. Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data. Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost and parts data through improved maintenance management. Manage the deployment and redeployment of personnel and equipment.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Business Administration from an accredited university/college with five plus years of experience in military logistics; or Military equivalent training in logistics and eight years of experience. Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) experience. Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) experience. Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize and execute against multiple priorities. Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets; excellent data entry skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong analytical skills. Fluent in the English language including the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant logistics documentation. Advanced level experience and skills operating MS-Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point. Expertise with basic military logistics, supply and maintenance shop operations.
