Join our team at this cutting-edge facility to contribute to environmental sustainability and water management in Kuwait.</p><br><p>At Veolia, you'll work on impactful projects, enjoy growth opportunities, and be part of our mission to lead the ecological transformation in wastewater treatment and reclamation.</p><br><br>Job Description<br><p><strong>Role:</strong></p><br><p>The Field Technician (Instrument) is responsible to perform the below tasks but not limited to,</p><br><p>• Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance tasks of all instruments at UF/RO facility under supervision.<br> • Support senior technicians in troubleshooting malfunctions and operating defects.<br> • Under the guidance of senior technicians, assist in plant modification works related to instrumentation.<br> • Help in replacing and installing specified parts and making required adjustments.<br> • Assist in executing required preventative maintenance procedures.<br> • Support in ensuring equipment runs correctly and assist during emergency repairs when required.<br> • Maintain and organize tools regularly under supervision.<br> • Provide support to WH/Store keeper for necessary spare parts inventory management.<br> • On-call availability and shift work with various schedules may also be required.<br> • Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to EHS regulations and requirements.<br> • Perform regular tool inspections under guidance.<br> • Assist with the development of operational quality system procedures/guidelines/documents for Water Treatment.<br> • Adhere to EHS &amp; Quality processes and procedures, and report potential hazards at job sites.<br> • Maintain appropriate housekeeping for plant facilities cooperating with other departments.<br> • Work under supervision and report regularly to supervisors.<br> • Learn to determine reasons for malfunctions of systems or components.<br> • Participate in training programs to develop technical skills.<br> • Assist in documentation and record-keeping of maintenance activities.<br> • Support in material handling and preparation for maintenance work.<br> • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.<br> • Perform other tasks as directed.</p><br><br>Qualifications<br><p>• Diploma in Electrical &amp; Electronics/Instrumentation &amp; Control discipline or ITI in Instrumentation or Instrument trade certificate (2 Years course).<br> • Minimum 6 years work experience (3 years for Diploma holders, 8 years for ITI technicians), with at least 2 years maintenance work experience, preferably in water &amp; waste water treatment plant/Desalination plant/RO plant/power/petroleum/chemical or any other continuous manufacturing process industry.<br> • Ability to read, write, and speak English.<br> • Good knowledge of the concept of Automation.<br> • Good interpersonal skills.<br> • Ability to repair/calibrate all online process instruments.<br> • Capable of understanding P&amp;ID, Instrument loop diagrams, and JB &amp; control panel wiring diagrams.<br> • Proficient in basic MS-OFFICE applications.<br> • Ability to work with minimum supervision.<br> • Strong commitment to safety and quality.</p><br><br>Additional Information<br><p><strong>Desired Characteristics</strong></p><br><p>• Experience in water/wastewater treatment plant activities.<br> • Working experience in GCC country.<br> • Capable of troubleshooting all process &amp; analyzer instruments.<br> • PLC/SCADA knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.<br> • Ability to work in a team environment.<br> • Results oriented with customer focus.</p><br><p><strong>As an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.</strong></p><br><br><br> </div>
