<p><b><u>Function:</u> </b></p><p>The Senior QA/QC Officer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control(QA/QC) systems across all operational units and the Head Office. The role ensures that food products, processes, facilities and documentation comply with company standards, food safety regulations, customer requirements, and applicable quality management systems. The position serves as a key link between operations, productions, procurement and management to promote continuous improvement in food quality and safety.</p><p><br></p><p><b><u>Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:</u></b></p><p><b>Quality Assurance & Food Safety Management</b></p><ul><li>Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS). </li><li>Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, food safety regulations, and company quality standards. </li><li>Develop, review, and update quality procedures, work instructions, policies, and records. </li><li>Monitor the effectiveness of food safety and quality programs across all operational locations.</li></ul><p><b>Quality Control Operations</b></p><ul><li>Oversee product inspections, process monitoring, and quality verification activities. </li><li>Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products meet established specifications. </li><li>Review and verify quality control records, inspection reports, and test results. </li><li>Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li></ul><p><b>Head Office Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Maintain centralized QA/QC documentation and records. </li><li>Prepare quality reports, KPI dashboards, and management review presentations. </li><li>Coordinate quality-related communications between Head Office and operational sites. </li><li>Monitor compliance status and follow up on corrective actions across all branches or facilities. </li><li>Support management in developing quality objectives and improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p><b>Audits & Compliance</b></p><ul><li>Plan and conduct internal quality and food safety audits. </li><li>Assist in regulatory inspections, customer audits, and third-party certification audits. </li><li>Ensure timely closure of audit findings and non-conformities. </li><li>Monitor compliance with local food regulations and certification requirements.</li></ul><p><b>Training & Development</b></p><ul><li>Conduct quality and food safety training for employees. </li><li>Promote awareness of hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and quality standards. </li><li>Coach operational teams on best practices and compliance requirements.</li></ul><p><b>Supplier Quality Management</b></p><ul><li>Assist in supplier evaluation and approval processes. </li><li>Monitor supplier performance and quality compliance. </li><li>Investigate supplier-related quality issues and coordinate corrective actions. </li></ul><p><b>Continuous Improvement</b></p><ul><li>Analyze quality trends, complaints, audit findings, and non-conformance data. </li><li>Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. </li><li>Participate in new product development and process validation activities as required.</li><li>Travel regionally as required to conduct audits and ensure standardization across all locations.</li><li>Perform any additional duties assigned by the Direct Manager.</li></ul><p> </p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>

<p>Be a partner to ensure high customer satisfaction through effective procurement, inventory control, and supply chain coordination. </p><br><p><b>Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to</b><b>:</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Take ownership of end-to-end procurement and import logistics activities for Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials, and Finished Goods (FG), ensuring uninterrupted supply to support business operations. </p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate closely with the Regional Procurement team to execute local material management strategies, purchasing agreements, sourcing activities, and daily procurement operations for the Kuwait plant. </p><br></li><li><p>Process purchase orders, manage supplier communications, and ensure timely follow-up on deliveries, documentation, and order fulfillment. </p><br></li><li><p>Build strong relationships with suppliers through proactive engagement and follow-up performance to ensure service reliability, quality, and on-time delivery. </p><br></li><li><p>Monitor inbound shipments and work closely with clearing agents, logistics providers, and customs authorities to ensure smooth clearance and timely receipt of imported materials. </p><br></li><li><p>Review and verify all import and supplier documentation to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. </p><br></li><li><p>Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and replenishment requirements, while collaborating with Demand Planning, Sales, and Production teams to maintain optimal stock availability and business continuity. </p><br></li><li><p>Develop and maintain replenishment plans for imported raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, balancing inventory availability with working capital efficiency. </p><br></li><li><p>Prepare and maintain procurement, inventory, import order, and stock performance reports to support effective decision-making. </p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely receiving, storage, inventory posting, palletization, and material movement across facilities. </p><br></li><li><p>Ensure accurate inventory control and stock visibility across all warehouse locations, identifying and addressing discrepancies in a timely manner. </p><br></li><li><p>Proactively identify, communicate, and escalate supply chain risks, material shortages, shipment delays, or inventory challenges, while recommending practical corrective actions. </p><br></li><li><p>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics efficiency, inventory optimization, and cost reduction, while minimizing excess, slow-moving, and obsolete stock. </p><br></li><li><p>Lead periodic inventory review discussions with Sales and other stakeholders to maximize stock utilization and improve inventory health. </p><br></li><li><p>Ensure all procurement and supply chain activities are conducted in accordance with Group Procurement policies, company procedures, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards. </p><br></li><li><p>Collaborate across functions and with external partners to ensure a seamless supply chain and exceptional service levels for internal and external customers. </p><br></li></ul><p>This role will report to the Warehouse Manager and will be based at our factory in Mina Abdullah Industrial Area, Kuwait.</p><br><p><b>Furthermore, we expect that you have</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent.</p><br></li><li><p>Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or import operations. </p><br></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. </p><br></li><li><p>Experience with ERP systems is preferred. </p><br></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
