Removes, adjusts, repairs and replaces/re-installs functional components and incorporates applicable technical directives and bulletins. + Ensures the accurate entry of data into the locally used computer database system to document maintenance actions, monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, and maintain equipment records. + Analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs CSE using conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools. + Uses Hazardous Materials such as chemical sealants, oil, hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, etc. Performs proper handling and disposal of chemicals and petroleum products required during maintenance. + Uses illustrated parts breakdowns (IPB)s to determine material requirements, research associated part numbers, and requisitions repair parts, materials, and consumable supplies through supply system. + Performs close tolerance adjustment, repair and rework of equipment in and out of shop area. + Services, inspects and tests aviation support equipment used for direct and indirect aircraft support. + Troubleshoots, inspects, services, tests and conditions storage batteries to include lead-acid, gel and sealed type. + Performs Corrosion Control/Prevention, Preservation and de-preservation of Support Equipment (SE). + Performs general housekeeping and organization of workstation(s), shop(s), maintenance facility to provide a clean, safe, and FOD free environment. + Conduct off station maintenance when required. + When necessary, performs other duties and supervisory functions, critical to the function of the program and to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
