Drafts Request for Proposals, develops source selection criteria, analyzes cost/price data to determine price reasonableness, leads negotiation efforts with subcontractors, and reviews and interprets clauses, formal amendments, agreements and legal documents. Supports all internal and external audits and provides program support to both internal and external customers. <p>Employee will be part of the deployment pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules.</p>
<p>Employee will assemble, disassemble, renovate, transport, load, deactivate, modify, destroy, and handle munitions including missiles, precision, and gravity bombs. Work on the installation, configuration changes, modification, repair and adjustment of aircraft armament systems and components. Perform maintenance modifications, destruction, and demilitarization of ammunition and explosive components. Operate computer hardware and software utilities and manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures. Inspect bomb release systems and missile launchers to determine need for repair or destruction in support of Reaper Series RPA maintenance.</p>
<p>Additionally, employee may conduct inspection, maintenance, and storage of munitions and support equipment. Support weapons loading and armament systems and related matters. Support quality assurance, compliance, continuity, and standardization of munitions programs. Attend weapons safety course, load certification and related activities. Provide technical inputs to managers in matters of weapons management, inventory, and maintenance, loading, and armament systems. Assist with availability and serviceability of munitions to support emerging customer requirements.</p>

<h4>Minimum requirements:</h4>

<li>Completed USAF Munitions/Weapons Tech School or DoD equivalent.</li>
<li>Must possess basic knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft maintenance.</li>
<li>Must be able to perform increment monitor duties to include but not limited to equipment/cargo preparation, documentation, pallet build-up, and hazardous cargo.</li>
<li>Must be able to inspect and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment.</li>
<li>Must achieve a passing grade in all required courses/certifications for continued employment, as needed.</li>
<li>Employee must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria, to include pre-deployment medical screening, as a condition of employment.</li>
<li>Must be able to deploy to forward locations (other countries) as directed by the government.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear military issued equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods.</li>
<li>Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.</li>
<li>Must have had an active secret US government clearance within the last 12 months. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.</li>
<li>Must be able to maintain required DoD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties during employment.</li>
<li>Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date.</li>
<li>Must have current/active state issued driver’s license.</li>
<li>Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid flight-line government driver’s license.</li>

<p>Job Purpose The Data Center Mechanical Engineer owns the mechanical and cooling infrastructure of the data center at engineering level, from the central cooling plant through to the data hall cooling environment. The role is responsible for mechanical maintenance strategy, system reliability, operational procedures, environmental performance, vendor management, safety compliance, spare-parts planning, and emergency response. The Mechanical Engineer directs the Mechanical Manning Technicians, authorizes equipment changeovers and critical maintenance activities, approves mechanical procedures, and acts as the mechanical technical authority during incidents and operational escalations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities and Areas of Ownership</p><ul><li>Take engineering ownership of the data center mechanical and cooling infrastructure, including chillers, cooling towers, chilled-water pumps, condenser-water pumps, heat exchangers, CRAH units, CRAC units, AHUs, ventilation systems, fans, filters, coils, valves, actuators, piping systems, and associated controls.</li><li>Manage the operation, reliability, and performance of chilled-water and precision-cooling systems serving the data halls and supporting areas.</li><li>Own mechanical equipment operating procedures, changeover procedures, start-up and shutdown sequences, and equipment rotation plans.</li><li>Authorize, lead, and supervise critical mechanical activities, including chiller changeovers, pump changeovers, cooling-tower changeovers, isolation activities, system draining, system filling, and restoration of equipment to cooling-system performance, equipment efficiency, energy consumption, operating trends, alarm history, temperature profiles, water-flow conditions, and equipment loading.</li><li>Identify and implement opportunities to improve cooling efficiency, airflow management, chilled-water performance, equipment sequencing, and overall energy performance without reducing system resilience.</li><li>Investigate mechanical faults, high-temperature conditions, leaks, abnormal vibration, low-flow conditions, low delta-T, equipment trips, control failures, and recurring alarms.</li><li>Lead root cause analysis for mechanical incidents and equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Direct, develop, and train Mechanical Manning Technicians in operational procedures, inspections, first-line maintenance, alarm response, safe isolation, and incident escalation.</li><li>Review technician shift logs, inspection checklists,
