Supervises custodial personnel and manages assigned area of responsibility, including scheduling daily activities, managing appropriate leaves, supervision of duties, and inspection of areas. Will assist in the setup of special events. Ensures personnel exhibit superior workmanship and focus on a quality end product. Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all tasks are accomplished safely. Verifies actual hours worked by personnel to reduce manpower expenditure. Ensures personnel complete all tasks in accordance with the local Environmental, Safety and Health directives. Provides leadership and mentors junior personnel to develop appropriate skillsets. Addresses customer concerns in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Uses Computer Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to correctly input data related to maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance inspections, and emergency/urgent customer requests. Ensures personnel correctly capture data on maintenance work order requests and preventative maintenance inspection forms for upload into Maximo. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned in accordance with PWS and industry standard + Monitors the work of staff responsible for providing custodial services related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities + Facilitates planning, coordinating, directing and controlling activities performed by custodial and landscaping personnel + Performs inventory control and transports supplies to various work sites; monitor the use and care of the supplies and equipment + Performs routine inspections of assigned areas and evaluates the work of employees against established standards + Directs or performs a variety of tasks which may include, but is not limited to, moving or setting up furniture, sand removal, sweeping walkways, bathroom checks, waxing floors, and other miscellaneous cleanup + Maintain adequate supplies in utility closets and custodial carts + Ensures training needs are met, and employees are counseled on job performance + Develops information, maintains records, and prepares a variety of reports e.g. custodial workloads, service requirements and employee job performance + Performs other duties and assignments as required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: + + High School diploma plus vocational training in administrative sciences, Associate degree preferred + Must possess a driver’s license for the purpose of obtaining a military and/or Kuwait driver’s license OCN Experience: + + Requires eight (8) years custodial experience + Requires three (3) years supervisory experience – custodial field preferred Supervisory Responsibilities: + + Will have direct oversight of junior custodians. The Water Compliance Supervisor will assist with the day-to-day operation of compliance and monitoring activities of drinking water and wastewater program. Support SOW services in the areas of drinking water, wastewater treatment and collection, and sampling. The Water Compliance supervisor will oversee the water, and wastewater compliance specialist that collect samples and perform inspections to ensure compliance with the applicable environmental and DoD regulations. Provide training, feedback, development, timecard approval, counseling on performance for direct reports. Ensure weekly reports are completed and submitted to the Sr. Engineer and the information is accurate. Training includes instructing specialist on work instruction, standard procedures of operations, as well as proper sampling collect techniques and inspections. + Scheduling and implementation of all water quality sampling activities, wastewater treatment and collection, compliance inspections and confirm that the specialists can perform proper field sample techniques. + Collect ice and water samples, wastewater samples, and conduct inspection, as needed. + Ensure specialists are completing and submitting water analytical reports correctly for verification. + Maintain appropriate and accurate records of water and wastewater sampling and inspection reports, chain of custody records, and other written correspondence on share drive. + Provide data and assist in the revision of work instructions, standard operation procedures and plans, and assist in quality audits. + Assists with the preparation of sampling and management reports. + Able to interpret and maintain current knowledge of DoD, U.S. Army, and host nation water regulations (i.e., OEBGD, Final Governing Standards, and AR 200-1). + Coordinate and assist with other departments and installation with environmental needs, as required. + Report any environmental issues and concerns involving water compliance to Sr. Environmental Engineer and/or management. + Must be able to drive and obtain a valid driver’s license and host nation driver’s license. + Submit weekly reports/slide presentations and ensure the data is accurate. + Perform other duties or tasks as assigned. <p><br></p><p>Reports to the TLSF Manager. Responsible for the full spectrum of maintenance operations; oversee Go/No-Go Testing of all government furnished equipment retrograded from the forward deployed sites for redistribution. Manages refurbishment programs for deep cleaning, upgrade, repair and configuration of IGX and other electronic systems. Directs and supervises Maintenance Support Teams (MST) supporting communication towers, telephony switching systems, and other communication systems. Manage field and sustainment maintenance to all strategic communications systems under the command of the 160th Signal Brigade, its subordinate units and the RCC. Monitors production for compliance with scheduling directives, cost factors, and standards. Develops performance standards, conducts employee counseling, and makes suggestions for formal and informal performance appraisals. Manages the calibration of Government Furnished Property (GFP) test equipment assigned to the Program. Directs, controls, and supervises antenna and tower maintenance in their respective countries, or areas they may be deployed too. Plans and coordinates scheduled maintenance visits for antenna/towers as required. Responsible for providing trip reports to the TLSF Manager as work is performed and completed. Performs a variety of duties pertaining to the operation, maintenance and repair of antennas and associated mounting hardware, tower systems, waveguide, lighting equipment and grounding systems. Processes Purchase Requests required to support daily maintenance operations. Reviews receipt, control and processing of work orders. Collects and analyzes data necessary to manage resources. Monitors material stock level to support maintenance activities. Advises the Program Management of the status of work orders and scheduling of maintenance schedule. May be required to prepare and present briefs on maintenance-related activities. Maintains situational awareness of logistics and maintenance activities at all operational sites, including the status of any operational, maintenance, and resource issues, including the glide path for the resolution of any of these issues. Manage and monitor the Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Repair and Calibration program. Ensures obligations are being fulfilled as per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Monitors staffing levels and creates projections to ensure proper manning is maintained in all situations; to include adequate coverage during vacation/holiday periods and for replacement of personnel who are projected to depart. Provides direct communication and coordination with associated military counterparts (such as Brigade S-4 and S-3) to facilitate mission support. Establishes rapport and effectively maintains liaison and coordination between the working elements of the department, management, customers and staff. Help develop best/alternative solutions to maintain smooth operations. Will work with and in conjunction with other departmental sections to accomplish all required taskings. Supervises and directs the Antenna Maintenance Support Team (AMST) in the performance of on-site and off-site routine and emergency maintenance support on towers, antennas, transmission lines and associated equipment. Perform quality assurance/quality control inspections on work performed. Performs organizational level repair maintenance through off-site general Support maintenance of support equipment including disassembly, testing, fault isolation and piece part replacement. Also performs technical inspections to determine maintenance requirements and approximate repair costs. Coordinates with sites and Operations and Maintenance staff in scheduled/unscheduled maintenance to ensure maximum system availability is maintained. Conducts, attends, and prepares for meetings and briefings as required.
