<p>The Army Aviation Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient execution of the quality program by leading and managing QC personnel in the operation and maintenance of the Program QC Plan.</p><p>Principal Accountabilities</p><ul><li>Develops, applies, revises and implements quality assurance plans and audits for products to ensure product quality targets are met. Maintains quality standards for receiving in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.</li><li>Reviews, revises and/or write's QA/QC Quality assurance procedures. Establishes, defines, implements, maintains, and reports on quality assurance key performance measures and standards. Performs root cause analysis, implements corrective actions, and monitors progress and improvements.</li><li>Drives continuous improvement through communication and training on quality standards, requirements, and best practices.</li><li>Implement and manage the QA/QC Program.</li><li>Ensure performance and quality of assigned QA/QC function conforms to established standards and governmental agency guidelines to ensure lasting customer satisfaction.</li><li>Audit procedural elements of program management.</li><li>Coordinate collection of responses to customer Corrective Action Response (CAR).</li><li>Work directly with operating entities to ensure inspections, statistical process analyses, and audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications.</li><li>Consult with local management in determining best measures of project efficiency.</li><li>Conduct and direct internal management audits, prepare formal audit reports, and define audit schedules.</li><li>Consult with local management in determining root causes for non-conformances to QA/QC Plan and to customer contractual requirements.</li><li>Implement the Process Improvement Program.</li><li>Assess contractual requirements, develop and maintain checklists, and communicate within QA/QC function.</li><li>Perform other qualified duties as assigned.</li><li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Eight (8) or more years of Quality Manager experience with at least Two (2) years in an Aviation QA/QC capacity and with Two (2) years in a managerial role.</li><li>Bachelor s Degree; may substitute two (2) additional years of experience for each year of college.</li><li>With a Masters Degree - Five (5) years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree; Three (3) years of relevant experience with Master's degree.</li><li>Additional knowledge/skills may be required by assignment or contract.</li><li>Advanced understanding of QA/QC approaches, methods, management, and responsibilities.</li><li>Knowledge of statistical methods, ISO 9000 standard, Lean Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies.</li><li>A valid US Passport is required for Deployment to Kuwait.</li><li>Must be able to obtain Kuwait PCC & Visa</li><li>Must be able to pass CENTCOM Medical requirements to attend CRC for Deployment.</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Security Clearance (NAC-I T1) Public Trust.</li><li>Must be able to obtain facility credentials/authorization to work at this location.</li><li>US Citizenship is Required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.</li><li>Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.</li><li>Build good working relationships with task order leadership and actively participate in management process.</li><li>Develop staff and determine best methods for performance enhancement.</li><li>Ability to effectively and efficiently supervise and manage quality personnel.</li><li>Ability to work with personnel at all levels to effectively and efficiently manage the program QC Plan.</li><li>Additional knowledge/skills may be required by assignment or contract.</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements / Working Environment:</p><ul><li>Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.</li><li>Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.</li><li>Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.</li></ul>
<p>Provides centralized retail supply and maintenance support; performs aspects of supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, bar coding, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Has a knowledge of supply operations and program requirements and the ability to apply established supply policies, day-to-day servicing techniques, regulations, and procedures.</p><p><strong>Program:</strong> OMDAC-SWACA</p><p>This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus and tuition reimbursement program! You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country to include but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a host nation visa and host nation driver s license in order to be qualified for this position.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Performs inventory management procedures, including ordering, receiving and storing supplies.</li><li>Selects the correct stock for issue, creates and process material release orders, and keeps records on incoming and outgoing stock.</li><li>Reconciles customer documentation with the PSRA and SSA on issues, receipts, storage of supplies and equipment, and financial discrepancies.</li><li>Screens dues-out reconciliation listings & prepares cancellation/follow up documents.</li><li>Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records and corrects errors and exception documents.</li><li>Provides status on supply requests, shipments and job-ordered items.</li><li>Operates a Cannibalization Point in accordance with AR 710-2.</li><li>Reconciles open requests, repairable exchange items and cannibalization items.</li><li>Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports.</li><li>Assists in validating property book inventories for equipment at the sites.</li><li>Performs prescribed load list and shop stock list duties to assist the DSSTs.</li><li>Compare packing lists, receipt documents, bills of lading, inspection reports, other documents, with purchase orders/requisitions to verify accuracy of stock data and quantities received against bills of lading, and shipping documents.</li><li>Assures stock numbers/prices/sources of data are correct through use of Army Master Data File (AMDF), Supply Bulletins (SBs), supply letters, regulations, etc.</li><li>Revises quantities ordered based on number of items on hand & reviews records for possible substitution of items.</li><li>Unloads, unpacks, inspects, counts, segregates and stores incoming supplies.</li><li>Prepare Forms 2404, 2407) to submit a work order to the maintenance department.</li><li>Repair and constructs fiberboard or wooden containers.</li><li>Constructs bins, shelving and other storage aids.</li><li>Packs, crates, stencils, weigh and bands equipment and supplies.</li><li>Loads, unloads and moves stock using equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks.</li><li>Required to climb a ladder and stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Performs other duties and assignments assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance is preferred.</li><li>High School Diploma required.</li><li>Some college preferred.</li><li>OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification</li><li>Minimum three years experience in Unit Level Supply Management and Property Control.</li><li>Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAMS, and ULLS-G.</li><li>Knowledge of principles and methods for accountability of supplies and equipment at retail/wholesale level, warehousing and moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road.</li><li>Experience with a customer service-oriented company.</li><li>Proficiency in using a computer - desktop or laptop.</li><li>Proficiency in using Microsoft productivity software.</li><li>Proficiency in using Email client software.</li><li>Other software / work management tools as directed</li><li>Forklift operation</li></ul>
