<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Candidates must have relevant experience in Substation and/or Overhead Transmission Line projects, either in India or internationally.</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs tailored to Indian regulatory standards and workplace environments.</p></li><li><p>Conduct thorough hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA) for all operational activities, focusing on potential Indian workplace hazards.</p></li><li><p>Investigate all accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, determining root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian safety legislation, including the Factories Act, and other applicable regulations.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical) or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>The engineering college and the relevant discipline must be accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).</p></li><li><p>Possession of a relevant professional safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or Indian equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety engineering within the Indian industrial sector.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in implementing and managing OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 management systems.</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
