<p><h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>Our utility cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions. At our hotels, these associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to support cleaning needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers), or transporting dishware or linens across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.</p>

Ensure quality safety observation program is implemented and maintained on each site/project and ensure follow up on findings. Assist EPC contractor construction management personnel in identifying hazards and in planning and organizing the work such that a safe working environment is maintained. Assist EPC sub-contractor Safety advisors and site management in the development and revision of specific site safety programmers. Maintain a HS&E audit and assessment program for the location. Carry out regular inspections of the work areas with the respective EPC contractor line manager and or HSE representative and prepare reports. Disseminate safety information throughout the workplace via bulletin boards, posters, newsletters etc. Assist EPC contractor line management and or construction supervisors in accident investigation process and report accordingly. <h4>Job purpose</h4>
<p>The assistant manager is responsible for serving customers on the shop floor and supporting the shop/department managers in ensuring efficient shop operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.</p>
<h4>Responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Greet customers warmly and offer expert advice to assist in their purchase decisions, ensuring alignment with quality and customer service standards.</li>
<li>Assist the managers in maintaining inventories and placing product orders to ensure effective stock management and availability of products.</li>
<li>Report operational issues promptly and address customer complaints, providing solutions or escalating as needed to ensure both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales trends, inventory status, and team productivity to keep managers informed and support effective decision-making.</li>
<li>Assist in scheduling staff to align efficiently with operational needs while optimizing costs for the shop/department.</li>
<li>Assign routine and non-routine tasks to sales associates, cashiers, and coordinators to optimize operational efficiency and ensure tasks are completed effectively.</li>
<li>Supervise the shop's opening and closing processes to ensure compliance with established procedures for petty cash, reporting, and other requirements. Ensure accurate delivery to the accounting department in accordance with company policies and security standards as necessary.</li>
<li>Communicate sales plans and targets to the shop/department team, monitor their performance continuously, and advise upper management on necessary corrective actions.</li>
<li>Specific for KIKO: Coach the team on products, makeup application techniques, and selling techniques to deliver KIKO customer experience.</li>
<li>Assist in training, motivating, and evaluating the team to ensure that the necessary skill base is met, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.</li>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>
<p><strong>Language & technical skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Language proficiency:</strong> Fluency in English.</li>
<li><strong>Technical skills:</strong> Proficiency in MS Office.</li>
<li><strong>Specific expertise:</strong> Strong product knowledge.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Education</strong></p>
<p>Bachelor's degree in a related field.</p>
<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>General experience:</strong> Five years of experience in retail, or a similar role.</li>
<li><strong>Managerial experience:</strong> Two years of experience in a managerial role.</li>
