Directs, trains, and mentors a group of multi-level mechanics/technicians in the execution of daily aircraft launch, recovery, pre/post-flight, maintenance activities, and servicing tasks. Maintains a continuous communication link between touch labor, Field Operations management, Boeing support functions, and KAF flight crews. Works with Logistics Data Management function to develop maintenance plans, including prioritizing, scheduling, and reporting of aircraft/maintenance status and accomplishment unscheduled maintenance activities. Understands the critical relationship between the flying schedule and airworthiness requirements/availability of parts when allocating manpower resources. Utilizes sound judgment and critical thinking to evaluate acceptable quality standards before authorizing exceptional release of the aircraft.
