Liaise and co-operate with the Driller and Assistant Driller to ensure the safe and smooth running of operations.</p><p><strong>Materials &amp; Equipment:</strong> Ensures that lifting material and equipment are properly maintained, stored, inspected, and returned to its proper storage location in a condition where its ready to be used as per directed. Prepare surfaces for painting and apply paint as directed. <p>The Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician serves as focal point for all logistics and repair functions for all supplied ALSE, first aid kits and Night Vision Devices. <p>The KC-130J Avionics/COM/NAV Technician will troubleshoot and/or repair malfunctions in the aircraft avionics/communication/navigation systems and all other supporting aircraft systems that require avionics skills and knowledge. Perform assigned maintenance to specified KC-130J standards, to include performing operational testing procedures and required functional tests in support of the KC-130J maintenance manual series. Performance abilities will include the application of troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing procedures to include the inspection and repair of aircraft wiring/wiring connector, breaker assemblies, component removal, inspection, and reinstallation. In the course of assigned duties will apply a thorough knowledge of electrical, avionics, and COM/NAV engineering principles, techniques, and methods necessary to repair and maintain aircraft, applicable equipment, and systems. Possess competent abilities in the use and application of hand tools, power tools, and associated precision measuring equipment used in support of system testing, evaluation, and operation. Ensures that all necessary equipment is ready for the next phase of the Drilling / Workover program and that necessary rig procedures, including JSA and PTW, are prepared on time and with good quality for the actual operations. Assists &amp; supervises drilling crew at the location at all relevant times, ensuring circulating time is sufficient and the well is stable on trips, when the BHA is being worked and whenever there is a hole problem. Operates the drilling unit with strict adherence to company Drilling &amp; Well Control manuals, by reviewing and approving all drilling related work permits.</p><p><strong>Well Control:</strong> Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements - assist in supervising well killing operations in any well control situation.
