Performs major and minor installation and repairs to circuit boards, circuit breakers, transformers, filters, batteries, rectifiers, and associated components and accessories. Performs in secure-, critical-, and sensitive-designed areas under control of the U.S. Army IAW contract requirements. Ensures routine and emergency maintenance on the fire alarm systems and peripheral equipment, components, and subsystems in the Area of Responsibility (AOR) are performed IAW NFPA 72 and UFC3-600-01, as well as other model building codes as directed .Reviews the inspections, testing, and repair of fire alarm control panels, initiating, indicating, and monitoring devices Ensures testing, and maintenance on fire suppression systems consisting of wet pipe sprinkler, pre-action sprinkler, FM200 clean agent systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment are performed IAW NFPA 25, NFPA 2001 and UFC 3-601-02, as well as other model building codes as directed . Performs in secure, critical, and sensitive designed areas under control of the U.S. Army in accordance with contract requirements. Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.
