Provide onboard leadership and direction for department leaders, for meeting the client drilling program requirements while considering company procedures and allocated rig budget. Roles & Responsibilities: Rig Operations: Organize and supervise the activities of drilling, moving and maintenance departments of the drilling unit to effectively carry out management and command functions in compliance with company procedures. Communicates with the Rig Manager in reviewing and discussing the client s projected well program before operations commence and throughout the well as necessary to stay abreast of pertinent operational activities and time factors. Ensure well programs, schedules are well known to the drilling crew and adequate written instructions are given and that necessary rig procedures, including JSA and PTW are prepared on time and with good quality for the actual operations. Ensure that necessary Management of Change or Deviation is approved in Synergi prior to operation starts. Manage & review the execution of the drilling program in coordination with Client Representative and rig department heads through the daily operations plans (IADC logs). Make all decisions in conjunction with departments heads regarding utilization of equipment, making sure the rig and support equipment is properly maintained and fit for purpose. Ensure the availability of the optimum quantity of rig supplies, parts, materials, fuel, lubricants, potable water for the drilling program are onboard. Determines when to cease resume operations, as per company procedures in cooperation with the Rig Manager. Plan, approve, and supervise rig activities such as equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance program, repairs, daily maintenance of drilling fluids, etc. Ensure all activities are coordinated with minimal loss of time or effort. Overseeing that space-out drawings are correct and are posted in the drillers cabin. Overseeing that post-jarring sheet are filled out and understood by night Tool pusher and driller. Rig Move: Plan all related rigs move activities, equipment, supplies, personnel in compliance with the Rig move Procedures. Assesses the current and new location, considering factors such as safety, lifting equipment availability at location, preparation for rig-up operations, Supervise the Rig move team during rigging down and rigging up activities to ensure they are followed efficiently and safely. Management of Major Emergencies: Acts as the command team leader during emergency situations, through leading the Rig s emergency response teams as detailed on the Emergency Plan and Company Procedures. Ensure that all personnel are instructed in the procedures to be adopted in the case of an emergency. Ensure that Well Control and general safety drills are held and recorded in accordance with Company requirements. Client Management: Act as the primary client contact at location regarding all service provision related matters. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Carry out general activities related to lifting, rigging & slinging of all loads lifted and moved by cranes and other lifting equipment, housekeeping, chipping, painting and repair of equipment in a proper & timely manner to ensure a safe & efficient operation.</p><p><strong>Roles & Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>General duties:</strong> Performs general duties in such a manner which results in achieving the operating plan and objectives set forth by the Driller and STP that includes Safety, operating expectation and rig appearance and housekeeping. Assists other rig departments such as the drilling crew on rig floor, welder, Maintenance Team, etc.</p><p><strong>Lifting Operations:</strong> Hook on loads for the crane and forklift operators and act as a banksman when required. Assist crane and forklift operators in off-loading and loading all drilling materials and supplies as required. Comply and apply safe rigging & slinging practices, from pre-lift requirements, wire inspections, correct use of taglines, proper use of hands-free tools and body placements, and the use of verbal and hand signaling methods.</p><p><strong>Rig Move:</strong> Carry out relevant duties and activities to prepare for rig moves as directed by the Driller.</p><p><strong>Drilling / Work-over Operations:</strong> Assists in operations for preparing drilling mud activities including mixing chemicals at the mixing hopper, cleaning out mud pits, etc. Assist in completing the cleaning, preparation and handling of tubulars and drilling tools. Supply the drill floor with tubulars, drilling tools and equipment as required. Liaise and co-operate with the Driller and Assistant Driller to ensure the safe and smooth running of operations.</p><p><strong>Materials & Equipment:</strong> Ensures that lifting material and equipment are properly maintained, stored, inspected, and returned to its proper storage location in a condition where its ready to be used as per directed. Ensure thread protectors are properly installed on drill pipes, drill collars & crossovers that are being hoisted or stored.</p><p><strong>Housekeeping:</strong> Ensures that the work area is clean and organized, free of hazards prior to & upon completing the work tasks, or repairs. Ensure that housekeeping standards in all areas are in accordance with Company requirements. Disposes of debris as per the company hazardous material segregations policy/waste management policy taking into consideration the environmental & safety aspects. Prepare surfaces for painting and apply paint as directed. Secure the current work area or operation before evacuating during emergency situations or drill.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p><strong>Education & Experience:</strong> High School or Technical Degree Preferably 1 year of working experience preferably in similar Oil and Gas industries. Minimum age 20 years up to 27 years old.</p><p><strong>Skills/Competencies Required:</strong> Elementary level of English language. Basic Mathematical skills adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying . Situation Awareness / self-motivation, Teamwork, Time management / Managing work.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders). Frequent lifting, pulling & pushing as per Company procedure. Ability to work under different extreme weather conditions such as: Heat, Noise, Humidity & Cold. <p>Responsible for efficiently managing and supervising the installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical installations within KDD, ensuring compliance with KDD requirements, international standards, and applicable safety regulations. The role involves reviewing project specifications and user requirements, coordinating electrical works with project teams and contractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all electrical systems are installed and commissioned safely, efficiently, and according to approved specifications and quality standards. Job duties include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Review project specifications, drawings, and user requirements to determine electrical installation requirements.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and validation activities.</li><li>Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with KDD standards, approved specifications, international standards, and applicable safety regulations.</li><li>Monitor the progress and quality of electrical works and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.</li><li>Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of electrical projects.</li><li>Inspect electrical installations and verify that all works meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.</li><li>Identify and resolve electrical installation issues, technical problems, and site-related challenges.</li><li>Review and verify electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.</li><li>Supervise contractors and subcontractors and ensure compliance with project requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards.</li><li>Conduct and oversee testing, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems and equipment.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.</li><li>Monitor the use of electrical materials, tools, and equipment and ensure compliance with approved standards.</li><li>Coordinate preventive and corrective actions related to electrical systems and installations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and participate in risk assessments and safety inspections.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and support to electrical technicians and other team members.</li><li>Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager on project status, issues, and completion.</li><li>Support the preparation of project schedules, resource requirements, and material requirements.</li><li>Ensure that electrical works are completed within the approved scope, schedule, quality, and budget requirements.</li><li>Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><h2>Required Qualification:</h2><p>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and project supervision. Experience in supervising electrical installation and project activities. Experience in coordinating contractors and subcontractors for electrical works.
