Position Overview: The QHSE Superintendent is responsible for leading the implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across the deep drilling land rig operations. Key Responsibilities: Health &amp; Safety: Lead implementation of the company's HSE Management System at drilling rig sites. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, client HSE requirements, and company procedures. Conduct regular rig inspections, audits, and management site visits. Facilitate Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Toolbox Talks, and Permit to Work (PTW) compliance. Monitor critical lifting operations, confined space entry, work at height, hot work, and pressure testing activities. Support well control safety initiatives and verify emergency preparedness. Participate in pre-spud, rig-up, rig-down, and rig move safety reviews. Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Promote proactive hazard identification and risk management. Incident Management: Lead or participate in incident investigations using recognized methodologies (e.g., ICAM, TapRooT, or 5-Why). Identify root causes and corrective actions. Track closure of corrective and preventive actions. Analyze incident trends and recommend improvements. Familiarity with 3000HP land rigs and HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) drilling operations is a plus. Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and management systems. All relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are required. Candidates from Canada, United States, Europe, Eastern Europe, Australia, China are preferred.</p><p></p></section>
