<p>SUMMARY OF POSITION<br>We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Engineer - Specialist to support the Drone<br>Inspection Program. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to<br>detail, and a passion for learning and innovation - traits essential for our fast-evolving program.<br>This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional infrastructure<br>inspection and cutting-edge drone technology.<br>This role combines drone operation support, ground-level inspections of powerline<br>infrastructure, and technical and analytical tasks. You will participate in field inspections, operate<br>advanced sensors, and prepare structured inspection reports. In parallel, you will support the<br>continuous improvement of IMCO's inspection protocols, contribute to the refinement of internal<br>inspection software and reporting tools, and assist in the interpretation and application of<br>international standards.<br>The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow their skills in inspection data collection and<br>analysis and will have the opportunity to pursue several career tracks based on their<br>competency and interest. <p>Key Responsibilities<br> Participate in UAV-enabled inspections of electrical transmission and substation assets<br>using advanced sensors and cameras.<br> Serve as a Visual Observer (VO) for drone operations, maintaining visual line of sight<br>with the drone and communicating with the pilot to ensure safe flights</p>
<p> Assist with sensor calibration, payload configuration, and real-time data collection in the<br>field.<br> Utilize computer software solutions to perform inspection data analysis and produce<br>structured technical reports aligned with QA/QC procedures.<br> Support the continuous improvement of inspection protocols and workflows based on<br>internal findings, international best practices and international standards.<br> Collaborate with internal teams on the development and refinement of custom software<br>tools for inspection management and reporting.<br> Contribute to the development of internal inspection workflows and preventative<br>maintenance protocols.<br> Assist in GIS-based data visualization, asset mapping, and the organization of digital<br>inspection archives.<br> Adhere to all safety protocols and operational standards in outdoor, high-voltage, or<br>restricted environments.</p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>

<b>Job Purpose</b> <br><p>The successful candidate will carry out, supervise, and certify Line Maintenance tasks on Air Arabia aircraft within the scope of CAR 66 B1 licence authorisation.
