<p>About the Role:
We are seeking a competent Site Engineer specializing in civil pipeline works for marine GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipe installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of GRP pipelines in marine and offshore environments, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily pipeline installation activities including trenching, pipe laying, jointing, lamination, and backfilling for marine GRP pipelines
• Ensure all GRP pipe installation works comply with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and international standards (ISO 14692, AWWA M45)
• Monitor trench excavation, dewatering, pipe bedding, and backfilling operations in accordance with project requirements
• Supervise GRP pipe jointing and lamination procedures including adhesive bonding, coupling installation, and flange bolting
• Coordinate with survey teams for pipeline route alignment, setting out, and as-built verification
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify adherence to specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Review and interpret isometric drawings, spool drawings, and pipeline alignment sheets
• Prepare and submit inspection requests (RFIs), method statements, and risk assessments

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:</span></p><br><ul><li><p><span>To properly handle the dishwashing machine, including turning on and off, de-liming, changing water and adding chemicals.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To safely handle chemicals and keep them stored properly.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To safely set up, clean and utilize the silver burnishing machine.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To safely utilize all cleaning compounds, chemicals and materials.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To follow a daily and weekly schedule of polishing all silver items in the hotel.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>To clean, polish, sort and transport required silver.</span></p><br></li></ul><p><span><strong>About You:</strong></span></p><br><ul><li>Should have 2-year minimum experience in same role in a five-star hotel.</li><li>Work in a multicultural environment.</li><li>Good Communication skills</li></ul><p><span><strong>About the Benefits:</strong></span></p><br><p><span>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in dinar (KWD), the local currency of Kuwait.
