<p><b>Title:</b></p><br><br>ASAB ESS: Community Planner (Secret Clearance)<br><br><p><b>Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! </b></p><br><br><br><p><b>Program Summary</b></p><br><br><p>The KBR ASAB Program provides comprehensive BASE OPERATING SUPPORT-INSTALLATION (BOS-I) services at the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. This program ensures the seamless functioning of operations, maintenance, and support activities essential for the sustained mission readiness and operational effectiveness of PSAB and its associated units.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Job Summary</b></p><br><br><br><p>The Ali Al Salem Air Base <b>Community Planner</b> shall provide community planning, and the management of activities related to human as well as physical aspects of community, regional, urban, comprehensive, and land use plans in support of an installation. Facilitates the development and maintenance of the Installation Development Plan (IDP) and other comprehensive planning studies used as the basis for installation planning, land use development, and installation investment planning decisions.</p><br><br><br><br><p><b>Roles and Responsibilities </b></p><br><br><ul><li><p>Ensures compatible use planning between on and off installation facility and infrastructure development and land use and develops a regional and local vicinity perspective of conditions off the installation</p><br><br></li><li><p>Plans, programs, budgets, and executes required projects in support of assigned programs. <p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The Non-Destruction Inspection Technician (NDI) III inspects aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.</p>
<p>Conduct the training and examination on all NDT methods to certify and to re-certify all operators and inspectors as outlined in NAS 410 or ASNT-CP-189.</p>
<p>Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection.</p>
<p>Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair center.</p>
<p>Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action.</p>
<p>Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations.</p>
<p>Compute and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitor personnel exposure data.</p>
<p>Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems.</p>
<p>Detect flaws such as cracks, delaminations, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment.</p>
<p>Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors.</p>
<p>Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment.</p>
<p>Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools.</p>
<p>Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment.</p>
<p>Perform silver recovery functions.</p>
<p>Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials.</p>
<p>Perform other qualified duties as assigned.</p>
<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>
<p>Completion of high school or equivalent and U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.</p>
<p>Trained and certified as an Examiner (Level III) to monitor the NDT Program, interpret codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the NDT method, will be certified to review their own x-rays.</p>
<p>Three (3) years’ experience as a Non Destructive Inspection (NDI).</p>
<p>Must be able to pass and clear CENTCOM Army MOD Physical and requirements for deployment (will attend CRC/DIDC Training).</p>
<h4>Security clearance requirements</h4>
<p>Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt NAC-I (T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance and for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.</p>

<li>Detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.</li>

The WAN Engineer is required to be certified at the expert level in multiple disciplines of networks and security (e.g. CCNP/CCIE & CISSP). WAN Engineers performs operation and maintenance (O&M) for the RCC-SWA enterprise network infrastructure. WAN Engineers will ensure stability and provide daily support of a geographically dispersed Wide Area Network Infrastructure and are responsible for design, troubleshooting, optimization, administration, change management and technical documentation. Setting and Reporting The UN Secretary-General launched on 1 January 2019 a bold and new global reform which repositioned the UN Development System to deliver more effectively and efficiently with the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
