<p><b>Title:</b></p><br><br>ASAB ESS: Site Manager (Secret Clearance)<br><br><p><b>Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!</b></p><br><br><br><p><b>Program Summary</b></p><br><br><p>Under the AFCAP V Program, KBR supports the U.S. Air Force by providing Engineering Support Services to the 378 ECES. These services ensure mission-critical Installation Engineering, Asset Management and Visibility, and Real Property support to the 378 AEW. In addition to Engineering Support Services at Ali Al Salem Air Base, KBR also provides food services and other quality-of-life support to sustain base operations.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Job Summary</b></p><br><br><p>The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and performance of all Engineering, Asset Management, and Real Property activities at the Ali Al Salem Air Base (ASAB), Kuwait. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Site Manager ensures services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), contractual requirements, applicable industry standards, OSHA safety requirements, and U.S. Government/U.S. Air Force directives.</p><br><br><br><p>This position provides leadership across multiple functional areas, including installation engineering, planning/programming support, sustainment management system (SMS) execution, Activity Management Plan (AMP) support, and Real Property accountability—while overseeing the personnel assigned to the Engineering and Asset Management teams (e.g., AMP Managers, engineers, technicians, planners, and Real Property support staff). The Site Manager is accountable for operational continuity across rotations, stakeholder coordination, and performance against mission-driven service levels in a high-risk, austere environment.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Roles and Responsibilities</b></p><br><br><ul><li>Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by setting the safety standard and enforcing safe work practices at all times.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance requirements; provide documentation and support to these programs as required.</li><li>Provide daily oversight of installation engineering, asset visibility, AMP/Sub-AMP execution, and Real Property coordination to ensure PWS performance objectives are met.</li><li>Lead, supervise, and mentor a multidisciplinary team (Engineers, Technicians, Community Planning, and Real Property personnel) to deliver safe, timely, and high-quality outcomes.</li><li>Establish a culture of accountability, efficiency, customer service, and continuous improvement across all work centers.</li><li>Coordinate daily tasking and priorities; assign work, monitor execution, and resolve barriers impacting performance.</li><li>Schedule personnel (shifts, rotations, coverage) to maintain required service levels, including support to short-notice mission requirements.</li><li>Inspect and audit in-process and completed work to verify compliance with PWS requirements and quality standards; initiate corrective actions as needed.</li><li>Oversee preventive maintenance planning and execution support to maximize reliability and minimize downtime of mission-critical systems.</li><li>Monitor performance trends, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate timely repairs/escalations to sustain operational readiness.</li><li>Maintain effective coordination with Government stakeholders (COR, ACO, Engineering Flight, Operations Flight, Real Property Office, and other mission partners) to support planning, execution, and compliance.</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and records management for engineering activities, asset visibility, work planning, and Real Property coordination.</li><li>Manage inventory of critical spare parts and supplies; In addition to performing inspections and maintenance, the technician practices good housekeeping, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety awareness.</p><p>Performs diagnosis and corrective actions, disassembles, inspects, evaluates, and accomplishes necessary repairs according to publication/technical instructions and technical directives on all required support equipment. Determines requirements for repairs, modifications, and part replacements. May be required to verify/inspect work performed by other technicians for which he/she is qualified to perform. Reviews, interprets, and applies maintenance procedures in support of assigned maintenance actions. <p>Employee will be part of the Deployment Pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules. Member will perform and inspect organizational and intermediate level maintenance and modifications on RPA systems and support equipment, as required. Lastly, this position requires an individual that can apply basic technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting Air Force technical orders, manufacturers manuals/instructions or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs. Member will inspect, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft engines, and other critical components to ensure airworthiness. Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, landing gear, power plants/trains, fuel systems, and functional components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, rivet guns and drills. Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions, including cracked components, oil leaks, etc.; diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes and correct breaks; test engine operations, use test equipment to locate source of malfunction(s). Replace/repair damaged components and remove engine/major components from aircraft, using hoist or other lifting devices; disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects; repair/replace defective engine components and reassemble and install engines in aircraft; adjust, repair, or replace instruments, ADP flight controls, electrical/electronics, fuel/oil systems and associated aircraft accessories. Perform aircraft services to include engine flushing/cleaning, parts lubrication, and required maintenance checks. May specialize in repair and modification of engines, structural components, precision repair, functional spare parts, and assemblies. Recommend revisions to maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and ensure quality workmanship.USAF equivalent position is Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice.</p><p>Essential Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Performs all daily launch/recovery duties in support of operational requirements.</li><li>Applies logic and good judgment, understands basic technical order diagrams and procedures, and uses test equipment for analysis of airframes, engines, flight controls, pneudraulic, fuel, electrical / electronic systems, and problems.</li><li>Supports aircraft utilization and maintenance activity schedules. The Technician performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on SE by inspecting, testing and operating SE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. Services equipment with required fluids such as oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant and compressed air. The Technician also performs removal, disassembly, repair, cleaning, corrosion treatment, re-assembly and installation of malfunctioning CSE accessories and components, as well as stenciling and marking SE, storing, handling, labelling, using and disposing of hazardous materials and hazardous waste. The Technician prepares SE for preservation and mobility deployment. The Technician operates, cleans, inspects and services all assigned support equipment, to include towing vehicles, to include Bobtail Ford trucks, Tow Tractors (Tug), and U-30 aircraft tow vehicle. In addition to performing inspections and maintenance, the technician practices good housekeeping, Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety awareness. Description: • Performs diagnosis and corrective actions, disassembles, inspects, evaluates, and accomplishes necessary repairs according to publication/technical instructions and technical directives on all required support equipment. Determines requirements for repairs, modifications, and part replacements.
