<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> The SOC Analyst - Tier 1 is responsible for providing 24x7 security monitoring, alert triage, event analysis, and incident escalation services within ZainTECH’s Managed Security Operations Center (SOC). As the first line of defense against cybersecurity threats, the role continuously monitors customer environments, validates security events, and ensures potential security incidents are identified, classified, documented, and escalated in accordance with established procedures and service level agreements. Responsibilities: Security Monitoring & Event Analysis Provide continuous 24x7 monitoring of customer and enterprise security environments through shift-based operations. Monitor and analyze security events generated from SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS solutions, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools, Firewalls, Email security gateways, Web security solutions and Cloud security platforms Review and assess security alerts to determine whether activity represents a legitimate security threat or a false positive. Perform initial event validation, classification, and prioritization based on severity, risk, and potential business impact. Identify suspicious behavior, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and anomalous activities requiring further investigation. Incident Triage & Escalation Perform first-level analysis and triage of security alerts and events. Create and manage incident tickets within approved incident management platforms. Categorize incidents based on Severity, Impact, Urgency and Threat classification Escalate validated incidents to SOC Analyst - Tier 2 teams in accordance with approved escalation procedures. Ensure escalations include complete and accurate investigation details to support efficient handover and further analysis. Maintain incident tracking and ensure timely updates throughout the incident lifecycle. SIEM Operations & Security Monitoring Utilize SIEM platforms to Monitor security events, Review alerts, Execute predefined searches and queries, Support basic investigations Support operational activities including Alert validation, Monitoring dashboard review, Log analysis and Security event correlation Assist with identifying false positives and escalating tuning recommendations where required. Support the overall effectiveness and reliability of monitoring operations. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of investigations, observations, and escalation activities. Document security incidents and monitoring activities in accordance with operational procedures. Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of investigations between teams. Support operational reporting and SOC performance metrics activities. Governance, Compliance & Operational Excellence Follow approved SOC procedures, playbooks, and operational standards. Ensure compliance with Internal security policies and Customer contractual obligations. Handle customer information with strict confidentiality and professionalism. Participate in training, simulation exercises, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain awareness of emerging cybersecurity threats and attack techniques. Employee will be part of the Deployment Pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules. Member will perform and inspect organizational and intermediate level maintenance and modifications on RPA systems and support equipment, as required. Lastly, this position requires an individual that can apply basic technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting Air Force technical orders, manufacturers manuals/instructions or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs. Member will inspect, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft engines, and other critical components to ensure airworthiness. Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, landing gear, power plants/trains, fuel systems, and functional components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, rivet guns and drills. Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions, including cracked components, oil leaks, etc.; diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes and correct breaks; test engine operations, use test equipment to locate source of malfunction(s). Replace/repair damaged components and remove engine/major components from aircraft, using hoist or other lifting devices; disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects; repair/replace defective engine components and reassemble and install engines in aircraft; adjust, repair, or replace instruments, ADP flight controls, electrical/electronics, fuel/oil systems and associated aircraft accessories. Perform aircraft services to include engine flushing/cleaning, parts lubrication, and required maintenance checks. May specialize in repair and modification of engines, structural components, precision repair, functional spare parts, and assemblies. Participates in power frequency convertor improvement and repair on the KADF Patriot systems. Shall be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all generators to include installation, Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), and operations. Will also coordinate with generators in the daily operations, repair, maintenance, PMCS, and generator fueling. Provides technical and engineering advice to the KADF Patriot program leadership. Participate in preventive maintenance operations at all maintenance levels. Performs troubleshooting, fault isolation and field maintenance repair for all frequency convertors for all systems. Functionally tests power frequency convertors after making repairs to assure compliance with design specifications and standards. Participates in the opening and closing of work orders and in on-the-job training (OJT). Implements approved engineering changes. Enforces approved KADF safety policies, procedures, and standards. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph">Employee will be part of the Deployment Pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules. Member will perform and inspect organizational and intermediate level maintenance and modifications on RPA systems and support equipment, as required. Lastly, this position requires an individual that can apply basic technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting Air Force technical orders, manufacturers manuals/instructions or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs. Member will inspect, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft engines, and other critical components to ensure airworthiness. Prepare and maintain DRSN facility in accordance with various agency checklist requirements such as Quality Control (QC), DRSN Security, DISA Performance Evaluation (PE), Communications Security (COMSEC), etc. Responsible for ensuring subscribers are trained on the features and capabilities of their phone instruments and are operating their DRSN phones within the prescribed security requirements. Supervise and control the entire drilling operation activities during the night shift, ensuring the successful completion of the well and drilling activities while liaising closely with Senior Tool Pusher or deputize for the Senior Tool Pusher when required. At all times considering the safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment to maximize drilling operation efficiency.Roles & Responsibilities:Drilling Operations:<ul><li>Ensures the safety of personnel, equipment, and the efficiency of operations on the drill floor and other drilling operation associated areas.</li><li>Plans and schedules all drilling and associated activity.</li><li>Directs personnel towards achieving optimum job performance according to the client s requirements.</li><li>Ensures any deviation from client well plan (Game Plan) is approved by STP, and that Client representative has documented in written form, and that necessary management of change or deviation is approved in Synergi prior to operation starts.</li><li>Consult with the STP and Client s Representative regarding the progress of the Drilling program and associated operations, keeping the driller informed about the ongoing drilling program objectives and communicating any changes in plans.</li><li>Ensure that space-out drawings are correct and are posted in the drillers cabin.</li><li>Overseeing that post-jarring sheet are filled out and understood by the driller.</li><li>Relieve the Driller at the Driller s console as operational requirement demands.</li><li>Ensures that all necessary equipment is ready for the next phase of the Drilling / Workover program and that necessary rig procedures, including JSA and PTW, are prepared on time and with good quality for the actual operations.</li><li>Assists & supervises drilling crew at the location at all relevant times, ensuring circulating time is sufficient and the well is stable on trips, when the BHA is being worked and whenever there is a hole problem.</li><li>Operates the drilling unit with strict adherence to company Drilling & Well Control manuals, by reviewing and approving all drilling related work permits.</li></ul>Well Control:<ul><li>Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements - <h4>Job Description</h4> Employee will be part of the deployment pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules. Member will perform and inspect organizational and intermediate level maintenance and modifications on RPA systems and support equipment, as required. This position requires an individual that can apply basic technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting Air Force technical orders, manufacturers’ manuals/instructions, or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs. Member will inspect, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft engines, and other critical components to ensure airworthiness. Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, landing gear, power plants/trains, fuel systems, and functional components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills. Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions, including cracked components, oil leaks, etc.; diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes, and correct breaks; test engine operations, use test equipment to locate source of malfunction(s). Roles & Responsibilities:Drilling Operations: Ensures the safety of personnel, equipment, and the efficiency of operations on the drill floor and other drilling operation associated areas. Plans and schedules all drilling and associated activity. Directs personnel towards achieving optimum job performance according to the client s requirements. Ensures any deviation from client well plan (Game Plan) is approved by STP, and that Client representative has documented in written form, and that necessary management of change or deviation is approved in Synergi prior to operation starts. Consult with the STP and Client s Representative regarding the progress of the Drilling program and associated operations, keeping the driller informed about the ongoing drilling program objectives and communicating any changes in plans. Ensure that space-out drawings are correct and are posted in the drillers cabin. Overseeing that post-jarring sheet are filled out and understood by the driller. Relieve the Driller at the Driller s console as operational requirement demands. Ensures that all necessary equipment is ready for the next phase of the Drilling / Workover program and that necessary rig procedures, including JSA and PTW, are prepared on time and with good quality for the actual operations. Assists & supervises drilling crew at the location at all relevant times, ensuring circulating time is sufficient and the well is stable on trips, when the BHA is being worked and whenever there is a hole problem. Operates the drilling unit with strict adherence to company Drilling & Well Control manuals, by reviewing and approving all drilling related work permits.Well Control: Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements - assist in supervising well killing operations in any well control situation. Plans & monitors comprehensive well control parameters to proactively identify any signs of well control issues for early detection and swift response. Maintains and regularly tests well control equipment, in accordance with Company s and Client s requirement, ensuring its readiness and effectiveness in critical situations. Perform all well control calculations (i.e., mud weight increase, initial and final circulating pressures, number of strokes, etc.).Management of Major Emergencies: To be part of the Rig s Emergency Response Team as detailed in the Emergency Plan and Company Procedures. Ensure that all personnel are instructed in the procedures to be adopted in the case of an emergency. Ensure that Well Control and general safety drills are held and recorded in accordance with Company requirements.Materials & Equipment: Assist STP in ensuring the location has sufficient stock of parts and materials to perform drilling and associated operations as per contractual requirements. Ensure planned maintenance and repair of drilling equipment including draw-works, mud pumps, top drive, rotary table, and BOP are completed and documented to ensure optimum condition and proper availability of required tools. Responsible for housekeeping standards in all drilling areas, sack store and mud pump room.Rig Move: Support STP in planning all related rigs move activities, equipment, supplies, personnel in compliance with the Rig move Procedures. Assesses the current and new location, considering factors such as safety, lifting equipment availability at location, preparation for rig-up operations, Supervise the Rig move team during rigging down and rigging up activities to ensure they are followed efficiently and safely.Client Management: Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other department heads, supervisors, operator's representatives, subcontractors, and all personnel on the rig. Responds to client requests and needs concerning materials, equipment, and personnel after getting adequate management approval.Reporting and Documentation: Maintains proper logs and records, promptly submitting required reports as per company protocols and regulatory standards. Prepare accurate and timely reports, including daily drilling reports, equipment status reports and incident reports, to document drilling activities and operational performance. Review all operational/technical bulletins, communicate pertinent points to crew members and implement all directives as required. Assist STP in initiating, monitoring, and recording all maintenance and repairs work in collaboration with maintenance department.People Management & Development: Provide clear instructions to their team regarding their duties, responsibilities, and any necessary safety precautions prior to commencing work. Mentor, develop and train their team to ensure safe and effective operations. Identifies opportunities for skill and career advancement, works to support the professional growth of their team members. Ensure their team receives the necessary required training to perform their duties safely and effectively through on-the-job training, classroom training and participation in safety drills and exercises.
