<p>The Aircraft Mechanic III performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of complex to extreme difficulty. Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components. Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Make entries in aircraft logs and records, and responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts. Responsible for the overall management of the KC-130J supply warehouse, material requirements, and all logistics functions necessary for support of the assigned program. Assists the Supply Lead in the accomplishment of tasks assigned to the Supply Resource Center and serves as the point of contact on all logistics/supply/material related issues. Complies with all references pertaining to KAF logistics procedures, to include the KAF 4790 series manuals as they apply to this contract.</p><p>Assists the Supply Lead in the management of daily operations and execution of all tasks in support of the Supply Resource Center. Works as a member of the supply team, executing tasks and facilitating priorities as prescribed by the Supply Lead and Maintenance Control. Ensures timely and accurate completion of all supply related reports, contract deliverables, and relevant documents. <p>Carry out general activities related to lifting, rigging &amp; slinging of all loads lifted and moved by cranes and other lifting equipment, housekeeping, chipping, painting and repair of equipment in a proper &amp; timely manner to ensure a safe &amp; efficient operation.</p><p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>General duties:</strong> Performs general duties in such a manner which results in achieving the operating plan and objectives set forth by the Driller and STP that includes Safety, operating expectation and rig appearance and housekeeping. Assists other rig departments such as the drilling crew on rig floor, welder, Maintenance Team, etc.</p><p><strong>Lifting Operations:</strong> Hook on loads for the crane and forklift operators and act as a banksman when required. Assist crane and forklift operators in off-loading and loading all drilling materials and supplies as required.
