<p><strong>Job Overview</strong> Weatherford is seeking a skilled and results-driven Field Specialist IV MPD to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for optimizing MPD and drilling processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will work closely with country and regional team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Additionally, this role plays a key part in conducting Operations safely and with minimal interruption to drilling. The job requires occasional package preparation in the Weatherford base where full compliance to Weatherford performance standards is required.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> Conducts maintenance of the Managed Pressure Drilling Services equipment at the job site and workshop when required. Responsible for managing all aspects of the field/offshore Directly responsible for the safe delivery of all MPD related services onsite. On call 24hrs while on site. Responsible for daily MPD reporting, hydraulic calculations, simulations and supervises shift personnel. At the discretion of product line management (such as the Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, or their designee) will be responsible for working in the shop. This will include but not limited to green tagging, preparing, and/or assisting with shipping equipment to job site. Rig up, operate and perform troubleshooting of the Managed Pressure Drilling Services equipment at the job site or workshop, ensure all paperwork and HSE requirements are met and complied with Perform green tagging, In Casing Test, or other operational activities required on location or in the shop and all documented procedures for the Managed Pressure Drilling Services equipment on location. Perform all RCD operations and monitoring. Performs field operations of Managed Pressure Drilling Services equipment including operating the MPD Choke from the Operator s Panel Troubleshoot all electrical/electronic components and repair/maintain chokes and other mechanical equipment as necessary. Completes all the necessary reports/paperwork related to Managed Pressure Drilling Services operations. Keeps updated on all inspection requirements for the Managed Pressure Drilling Services equipment on the job site and in the shop. <p>The KC-130J Avionics/COM/NAV Technician will troubleshoot and/or repair malfunctions in the aircraft avionics/communication/navigation systems and all other supporting aircraft systems that require avionics skills and knowledge. Perform assigned maintenance to specified KC-130J standards, to include performing operational testing procedures and required functional tests in support of the KC-130J maintenance manual series. Performance abilities will include the application of troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing procedures to include the inspection and repair of aircraft wiring/wiring connector, breaker assemblies, component removal, inspection, and reinstallation. In the course of assigned duties will apply a thorough knowledge of electrical, avionics, and COM/NAV engineering principles, techniques, and methods necessary to repair and maintain aircraft, applicable equipment, and systems. Possess competent abilities in the use and application of hand tools, power tools, and associated precision measuring equipment used in support of system testing, evaluation, and operation. Possess the ability to read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, diagrams, schematics, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.</p><p>Major Job Activities Description: Applies and has a thorough working knowledge of COM/NAV and avionics systems to include; aircraft modification procedures and experience with specific avionics systems, e.g., data bus, antennas, software, displays, communications/navigation equipment, systems integration, system/component failure analysis, inspection, repair, and testing of COM/NAV and electrical systems through engineering principles, techniques, and methods in the maintainability of existing KC-130J equipment and systems. Removes, troubleshoots, inspects, reinstalls, and/or replaces aircraft COM/NAV and avionics components, radios, antennas, electrical wiring, and all other associated electronic components that support the operation and use of the aircraft systems/capabilities as directed by approved maintenance manuals/procedures and/or Maintenance Control Interpret MIMs and all associated maintenance publications, orders, and directives to perform maintenance and use processes to document such maintenance actions, ensuring the accurate entry of data into the locally used computer database system. Performs applicable O and I level battery maintenance functions as required per applicable maintenance manuals. Performs required tasks associated with EKMS as directed by Kuwait Air Force and NAVAIR Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions, to include cross-training in all required essential technical specialties, to facilitate the removal, inspection, repair/replacement, installation, and test procedures of aircraft component parts, survival equipment (life rafts, first aid kits, etc..), pneumatic systems, environmental control systems, fuel systems, avionics systems, and all associated aviation life support equipment, airframes, and power plants systems. Inspect, control, and prevent corrosion of aircraft metals and system components using established and approved procedures. Checkout and operate all necessary support equipment for flight line maintenance of established maintenance procedures/ Conducts off station maintenance when required. When necessary, perform other duties and functions critical to the support of the program.</p><p>Material &amp; Equipment Directly Used Must have a working knowledge of and be proficient with (input and extract data) of computers, aircraft data debriefing and diagnostic software (DTADS), and maintenance information systems.</p><p>Working Environment Environmental conditions are diverse and could range anywhere from an office environment where there is little or no physical discomfort to an environment where inclement weather may subject individuals to severe changes in temperature, less than adequate lighting, dust and wind.
