Inspect bomb release systems and missile launchers to determine need for repair or destruction. Assist in management of all inspection, maintenance, and storage of munitions and support equipment. Support quality assurance, compliance, continuity, and standardization of munitions programs. Provide technical inputs to management in matters of weapons management, inventory, maintenance, loading, and armament systems. Maintain weapons certification and currency. Assist with availability and serviceability of munitions to support and meet customer requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned or requested. <br><br>Minimum Requirements:<br><br> Must have High School diploma or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum. Minimum of one year of actual Aircraft Munitions/Weapons maintenance experience required. Completed USAF Munitions/Weapons Tech School or DoD equivalent. Must possess basic knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft maintenance. Must be able to perform Increment Monitor duties to include but not limited to equipment/cargo preparation, documentation, pallet build-up, and hazardous cargo Must be able to inspect and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment. Must achieve a passing grade in all required courses/certifications for continued employment, as needed. Employee must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria, to include pre-deployment medical screening, as a condition of employment. Must be able to Deploy to Forward Locations (other countries) as Directed by the Government. Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Must have had an Active Secret US Government Clearance within the last 12 months. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be able to maintain required DoD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties during employment. Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date. Must have current/active State Issued Driver’s License. Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid flight-line Government Driver’s License. Must have valid U. S. Passport with a minimum of two years remaining with at least two facing pairs (four total) of blank Visa pages. Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated with booster. Accommodations may be available under limited circumstances. <br><br> Preferred Qualifications:<br><br> Associate degree in a relevant career field. RPA Deployment Experience. Prior Experience as a Defense Contractor. Munitions/Weapons experience within the last 10 years.
