<p>Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and bill of quantities (BOQ) for mechanical scope including piping, pipelines, valves, fittings, supports, and associated works.</p><p>Monitor and track daily/weekly mechanical construction quantities (piping fabrication, erection, welding, hydro-testing, etc.).</p><p>Verify contractor’s monthly progress claims, invoices, and measurement sheets for mechanical works.</p><p>Identify and prepare variation orders (VOs) and claims related to mechanical scope.</p><p>Maintain detailed records of measured quantities, material consumption, and installed works.</p><p>Conduct site measurements and joint measurements with contractors and client representatives.</p><p>Assist in preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for mechanical construction activities.</p><p>Review and validate material requisitions, delivery notes, and reconciliation statements.</p><p>Coordinate with Mechanical, QA/QC, and Planning teams for accurate progress reporting.</p><p>Prepare monthly quantity and cost reports for project management and client submission.</p><p>Ensure compliance with project contract conditions and KOC/KNPC/KIPIC/JO procedures.</p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>
<div data-jb-field="skills"><p>Diploma/Bachelor Degree.</p><p>Minimum <b>10 years</b> of total experience in Quantity Surveying.</p><p>At least <b>5 years</b> of experience in Oil & Gas site construction projects.</p><p><b>Must have previous experience</b> with KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, or JO in piping or pipeline construction projects.</p><p><b>Preferred:</b> Previous experience as KOC/KNPC/KIPIC/JO approved Quantity Surveyor.</p><p>Strong knowledge of mechanical works measurement standards (piping, pipeline, static equipment).</p><p>Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar).</p><p>Excellent analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills.</p><p>Ability to work full-time at construction sites and perform site measurements in outdoor conditions.</p></div>
