Operates, administers, and maintains the VTC Bridge. Required to manipulate the bridge to provide technical support for all VTC circuits attached. Ensure EPC contractor subcontractor selection (ITB) processes are developed and implemented on a timely basis in accordance with KOC expectations. Provide advice and guidance to the EPC contractor management team on HSE issues through the interpretation of KOC policies and statutory requirements. Ensure EPC contractors establish and maintain statistical data concerning all matters of health and safety, training programs with which to provide a basis for development of further health and safety activities, to highlight trends for future action. Monitor compliance with all Kuwait legislative requirements including the dissemination of information to PMC and EPC managers and employees regarding amendments/ additions to requirements as they come into effect. Review EPC contractor Safety Management System and advise of required changes. Develop and maintain professional relationships with KOC, regulatory bodies and EPC contractor to foster the professional image of Worley Parsons. Visit the project site on a regular basis to ensure interest and awareness of HSE is maintained, conduct regular safety talks and safety training sessions relative to the nature of activities being undertaken. Other key activities shall include but not be limited to the following:Pro-actively visit site and with the EPC contractor implement safety measures- promote/ensure safe work practices. Ensure quality safety observation program is implemented and maintained on each site/project and ensure follow up on findings. Assist EPC contractor construction management personnel in identifying hazards and in planning and organizing the work such that a safe working environment is maintained. Assist EPC sub-contractor Safety advisors and site management in the development and revision of specific site safety programmers. Maintain a HS&E audit and assessment program for the location. Carry out regular inspections of the work areas with the respective EPC contractor line manager and or HSE representative and prepare reports. Disseminate safety information throughout the workplace via bulletin boards, posters, newsletters etc. Assist EPC contractor line management and or construction supervisors in accident investigation process and report accordingly. Develop and implement safety initiatives to continually improve, achieve and maintain stated safety performance and objectives. Ensure HSE safety inductions are undertaken in accordance with the EPC contractor SMS requirements for all new employees of the company and its subcontractors Monitor the availability and use of safety apparel and equipment. Provide advice to the EPC subcontractor supervision on the development of project specific procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) training,Advise subcontractor supervisory staff and employees in the implementation of strategies to identify and control potential hazards and in the use of the hierarchy of controls Ensure all lines of communication on HSE-matters remain open and effective between all parties particularly KOC, Worley Parsons, EPC contractors and their subcontractors.<br><br>Qualification<br><br>Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Fire & Safety, Environment, Production, Industrial, Electrical, Instrumentation or Civil.) The Maintenance Controller assigns priorities and directs maintenance personnel to correct discrepancies, generate work orders, track and comply with all inspection requirements, compile and record maintenance data applicable to the Maintenance Information System (MIS), provide the ability to compare records and reports on consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.</p> <p> </p> <p> <strong>Description:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Act as point of contact for all aircraft discrepancies that may affect daily operations and mission success.</li> <li>Direct and coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions and workload planning</li> <li>Attend meetings with the customer and provide information, reports, and official correspondence regarding aircraft status, mission capability, and maintenance planning information.</li> <li>Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and customer representatives in the management of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources.</li> <li>Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and initiate corrective actions as necessary.</li> <li>Manage completion of maintenance actions and ensure the complete and accurate entry of data into the Maintenance Information System (MIS).</li> <li>Coordinate with adjacent contractors and supporting agencies to acquire necessary tools, parts, support, materials, and equipment to prevent maintenance stoppages.</li> <li>Ensure accuracy of documentation, (i.e., aircraft, engine, propeller, logbooks, weight and balance records, and MIS) and adherence to technical publications, policies, procedures, and safe maintenance practices.</li> <li>Prepares and sends required reports and attend staff / customer meetings as required.</li> <li>Coordinate troubleshooting efforts on complex maintenance discrepancies, making recommendations for courses of action based on aircraft service history analysis, applicable Maintenance Manual guidance, and operator experience.</li> <li>Use illustrated parts breakdowns (IPB)s to determine material requirements, research associated part numbers, and order parts.</li> <li>Monitor and track all life limited components, periodic special, hourly, conditional, and phase maintenance/isochronal inspections as required by the Periodic Maintenance Requirements Manual, Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC)s, manufacturer s specifications, and all applicable directives, orders, and instructions.</li> <li>Coordinate with operations personnel and aircrew members to ensure the flight schedule is adequately supported and missions are able to be conducted within prescribed timelines.</li> <li>Conduct off-station maintenance when required.</li> <li>Assist in the conduct of maintenance on the flight line and back shops as required to ensure aircraft are available to support the flight schedule.</li> <li>When necessary, perform other duties and functions critical to the support of the program.<br> </li> </ul> <br> <strong>Qualifications</strong> <br> <br> <p> <strong>Education / Certifications:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma</li> </ul> <p>Must be able to obtain/maintain the following required certifications/qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level security clearance.</p> </li> <li>Aircraft Weight & Balance certification</li> <li>Safe for Flight certification</li> <li>Aviation Gas Free Engineering (AVGFE) certification</li> <li>Hydraulic Contamination certification</li> <li> I Level & O Level Tire & Wheel certification</li> <li> I Level MLG Brake repair / rebuilding qualification</li> <li>Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) run qualification</li> <li>Applicable Support Equipment licensing</li> <li>Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) qualification</li> <li>Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) qualification</li> <li>Corrosion Prevention and Control and Aircraft Paint qualification</li> <li>Confined Space Entry certification</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Experience:</strong> </p> <p> Eight years aircraft maintenance experience with five years experience working on C-130J aircraft preferred.<br> Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) 4790.2 or equivalent experience with Air Force Instruction 21-101 preferred.<br> Safe for Flight experience and certification specific to C-130J aircraft preferred.<br> Must have a working knowledge of first aid procedures to be used in an emergency.<br> Must have a strong knowledge base of aviation maintenance programs, processes, and procedures (example: Safety, Tool Control, HAZMAT, inspection programs, administrative requirements, support equipment, calibration/torque programs & procedures).</p> <p> </p> <p> <strong>Specific Requirements:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Must be United States (U.S.) citizen, be able to read, write, and understand the English language</li> <li>Must be able to obtain a United States Passport. <p>Responsible for efficiently managing and supervising the installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical installations within KDD, ensuring compliance with KDD requirements, international standards, and applicable safety regulations. The role involves reviewing project specifications and user requirements, coordinating electrical works with project teams and contractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all electrical systems are installed and commissioned safely, efficiently, and according to approved specifications and quality standards.
