Configures Open Short Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Multi-Protocol BGP (MP-BGP), Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networking (DMVPN), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF), and Quality of Service (QoS). + Identify problems and troubleshoot DMVPN phases 1-3. + Evaluates network performance and adjusts the network infrastructure hardware and software to include, but not limited to, routers, switches, and network management tools, in order to operate and optimize network performance. + Perform regular system maintenance in support of IAVA vulnerabilities and CCRI compliance. + Perform capacity planning for communications networks carrying data, voice, and video. + Monitors availability and reliability of the WAN and supported infrastructure utilizing DX NetOps Spectrum, SolarWinds Orion and Cisco DNA Center. + Executes engineering best practices in network builds, integration, testing, and documentation while adhering to security fundamentals provided by DISA’s Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). + Ensure that all managed technologies are compliant with current DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). + Assist with identifying and investigating malicious network activity. + Create, update, and maintain detailed network diagrams. + Create and track network issues/requests using the ServiceNow ticketing system. + Performs other duties and assignments as required.
