If you currently possess a United States Passport and it must have at least 24 months of time remaining before expiration. + Graduation from a standard four (4) year high school or equivalent (GED). + Five years of hands-on aviation ground support equipment maintenance experience preferred. A combination of formal education, technical schools, and practical experience may be substituted. + Have a strong knowledge base of aviation maintenance procedures (safety, tool control, HAZMAT, Inspection programs, Administrative requirements, support equipment, calibration/torque procedures). + Must be willing to administrate, maintain, and manage maintenance programs (ex. Tool Control, HAZMAT, FOD, MetCal, etc…) as required by local policies. + Must be able to obtain / maintain the following required certifications / qualifications: -Applicable Support Equipment licensing -“I” Level &amp; “O” Level Tire &amp; Wheel certification -Hydraulic Contamination certification -Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) qualification + Must be willing and able to deploy off-site as required to support Kuwait Air Force operations. + Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance repair team as required. + Have a strong knowledge base of Intermediate Level Maintenance business procedures. + Must have a current civilian driver's license, and be able to obtain and maintain a government flight line driver’s license. + Must have an in-depth knowledge of technical orders/job guides/publications—read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications. + Must be able overcome cultural differences and to think outside the box, innovate, and provide solutions to the many complex problems and obstacles associated with international contracting and desert climate operations. + Must have a working knowledge (input and extract data) of computers. + Must be willing and able to work with job required hazardous materials. + Must be willing and able to conduct specialty on the job training.
