The DTE specialist will provide hands-on maintenance support and operational training on the repair of the Radar transmitter Battery Replaceable Units (BRU’s). Systems are computer driven and training will consist of both electronic and mechanical repair for the units under test. Working under a Patriot Test Station Lead, this position will require hands-on operation, maintenance and sustainment of the PAT 243 and PAT 247 Patriot test stations in support of Patriot Configuration 3+ systems. This will include operating troubleshooting and sustaining the coolant oil processing unit and Radar coolant group to ensure oil flow and glycol resistivity requirements are met for system unit operation. This will also include sustaining and troubleshooting converters, inverters and electric circuit’s assembly for the transmission system, by tracking signals and measuring voltage, current and resistance measurements to isolate problems to the component level on the Pat 247 test station. Functionally verifies the operational condition of the PAT 243, 244 and PAT 247 test stations to verify operational status. Demonstrates proper maintenance, sustainment, repair procedures and techniques. Participates in on-the –job training programs. Prepares, fills out and submits maintenance reports, system problem reports (SPR’s) and performs other duties as directed.</p><br><br><br><p><b>This position is located in Kuwait.</b></p><br><br><br><br><p><b> Qualifications You Must Have :</b></p><br><br><p>Must have four (4) years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operation, maintenance and sustainment of Dimensional Test Equipment (DTE) Station equipment and for testing, troubleshooting and repairing Patriot electronics Assemblies and Subassemblies to the component level, or equivalent test stations. Experienced in reading and understanding engineering drawings, schematics, books, technical documents and PC software. Demonstrated skills in using general tools and general use commercial test equipment, also in replacing component parts on circuit card assemblies. Must be able to work in extreme desert environments and lift 50 pounds. Must have a good understanding of standard industrial test equipment such as digital volt meters, high voltage probes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters and oscilloscopes. A Secret Security Clearance is required.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Qualifications We Prefer:</b></p><br><br><p>A minimum of 6 to 8 years hands on knowledge and experience operating, maintaining and sustaining PAT 243, and PAT 244 test stations or equivalent test stations. Demonstrated experience working on Configuration 3 system assemblies and subassemblies. Experience working in and with a Middle East customer directly. Roles & Responsibilities: Rig Operations: Organize and supervise the activities of drilling, moving and maintenance departments of the drilling unit to effectively carry out management and command functions in compliance with company procedures. Communicates with the Rig Manager in reviewing and discussing the client s projected well program before operations commence and throughout the well as necessary to stay abreast of pertinent operational activities and time factors. Ensure well programs, schedules are well known to the drilling crew and adequate written instructions are given and that necessary rig procedures, including JSA and PTW are prepared on time and with good quality for the actual operations. Ensure that necessary Management of Change or Deviation is approved in Synergi prior to operation starts. Manage & review the execution of the drilling program in coordination with Client Representative and rig department heads through the daily operations plans (IADC logs). Make all decisions in conjunction with departments heads regarding utilization of equipment, making sure the rig and support equipment is properly maintained and fit for purpose. Ensure the availability of the optimum quantity of rig supplies, parts, materials, fuel, lubricants, potable water for the drilling program are onboard. Determines when to cease resume operations, as per company procedures in cooperation with the Rig Manager. Plan, approve, and supervise rig activities such as equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance program, repairs, daily maintenance of drilling fluids, etc. Ensure all activities are coordinated with minimal loss of time or effort. Overseeing that space-out drawings are correct and are posted in the drillers cabin. Overseeing that post-jarring sheet are filled out and understood by night Tool pusher and driller. Rig Move: Plan all related rigs move activities, equipment, supplies, personnel in compliance with the Rig move Procedures. Assesses the current and new location, considering factors such as safety, lifting equipment availability at location, preparation for rig-up operations, Supervise the Rig move team during rigging down and rigging up activities to ensure they are followed efficiently and safely.
