This includes correctly reading names of drugs ordered, confirming dosages, and labelling containers. Checks with the Pharmacist in case of any doubt.</li><li>Assists in the issue of daily request of drugs to be stocked in wards and units. Completes orders by issuing items not prepared for delivery by shift staff the previous night e.g. refrigerated items.</li><li>Assists in pre-packing medicines in the various standard size containers for ready dispensing in accordance with the daily requirements of the particular drug.</li><li>Literacy in computer operation of the latest software applications.
