<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>The UH-60 Aircraft Mechanic AM-2 (UH-60 Army Aviation) performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneumatic and hydraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.</p>
<p>With a valid (FAA) A&P certificate (preferred), two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience, two (2) years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two (2) years on the assigned MDS UH-60 aircraft is required. (See below for requirements without A&P).</p>
<p>Valid US passport and US citizenship is required to obtain the NAC-I clearance and for facility access.</p>
<p>Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components.</p>
<p>Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services.</p>
<p>Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections.</p>
<p>Perform limited maintenance operational checks and diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required.</p>
<p>Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as aircraft technical manuals, maintenance information and action messages, and all technical guidance provided through government official representatives.</p>
<p>Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.</p>
<p>Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and use required expertise in restoring equipment condition and/or operation.</p>
<p>Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.</p>
<p>Perform other duties as requested.</p>
<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent is required.</li>
<li>With a valid (FAA) A&P certificate, two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience, two (2) years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two (2) years on the assigned MDS UH-60 aircraft is required. All experience must be within the five (5) most recent years.</li>
<li>Without a valid (FAA) A&P certificate; must have three (3) years aviation maintenance experience, three (3) years of rotary wing aircraft experience, and a minimum of three (3) years on the assigned UH-60 Mission Design Series (MDS) is required. All experience must be within the six (6) most recent years.</li>
<li>U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired; certification of education level is required.</li>
<li>A valid US passport is required for deployment to Kuwait. The passport must have 3 years remaining before expiring and 6 blank pages available at the time of hire and deployment.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass and clear CENTCOM Army MOD physical and requirements for deployment (will attend CRC/DIDC training).</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain Kuwait PCC clearance and visa prior to deployment.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Security clearance requirements</h4>
<p>Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government NAC-I (T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US citizenship is required to obtain a clearance and for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.</p>
<h4>Additional and preferred qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.</li>
<li>Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, and shears.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of technical publications and logistics information systems.</li>
<li>Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and may be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.</li>
<li>Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.</li>
<li>Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by mechanics.</li>
<li>The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.</li>

<h4>Primary objective</h4>
<p>Facilitate the development and effective implementation of Project Quality Management Systems by the Project Team in a manner that meets corporate, location and contractual requirements.</p>
<p>Manage project service and product verification and inspection of the project consistent with criticality assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations.</p>
<p>Manage project quality support functions including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, audits and project quality reporting and review.</p>
<p>Accountable for QA/QC related matters at project sites.</p>
<p>Must have experience in inspections of all stages of projects in oil & gas installations and construction QA/QC works.</p>
<p>Excellent written, coordination and verbal communication skills.</p>

<li>Project personnel are suitably trained in project plan requirements and to access and apply dependent systems, procedures and reference materials via the Project Web Site, EMS, WPMP and the Knowledge Communities as applicable.</li>
<li>Effectiveness of quality planning to ensure that process controls and prerequisite product and service verification and inspection arrangements are established and resourced for the project consistent with criticality, statutory and contractual obligations.</li>
<li>Effective planning and implementation of design control, verification, validation and review activities.</li>
<li>Effective implementation and coordination of vendor assessment and inspection activities.</li>
<li>Effective implementation and verification of construction inspection and testing activities.</li>
<li>Effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action management processes.</li>
<li>Establishment of an effective risk-based audit program.</li>
<li>Effectiveness of Project Management Review Programs including collection, analysis and reporting of project performance measures.</li>

<li>In conjunction with the Project Management Team and the Location Quality Manager, provide functional leadership for project quality personnel.</li>

<h4>Qualifications / Experience:</h4>

<li>Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline) from an accredited university.</li>
<li>Minimum 8 years of total experience post graduate studies.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer or equivalent.</li>
<li>Must have experience in inspections of all stages of projects in oil & gas installations and construction QA/QC works.</li>

<p><h4>Job summary</h4>
<p>Employee will be part of the deployment pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules.</p>

Operate computer hardware and software utilities and manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures. Inspect bomb release systems and missile launchers to determine need for repair or destruction in support of Reaper Series RPA maintenance.</p>
<p>Additionally, employee may conduct inspection, maintenance, and storage of munitions and support equipment. Support weapons loading and armament systems and related matters. Support quality assurance, compliance, continuity, and standardization of munitions programs. Attend weapons safety course, load certification and related activities.
