Oversee repair, maintenance, and overhaul of heavy trucks, buses, trailers, construction equipment, and commercial vehicles. Ensure all repairs are carried out according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards. Conduct final inspection and testing before releasing vehicles to operations. Plan preventive maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime. Coordinate with the Workshop Manager regarding manpower, spare parts, tools, and repair priorities. Monitor technician productivity and provide technical guidance and on-the-job training. Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and special service tools. Prepare job cards, maintenance reports, service records, and daily progress reports. Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate with the stores department for timely availability. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and workshop housekeeping (5S). Investigate recurring vehicle failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Attend vehicle breakdowns and provide technical support when required. Ensure all work is completed within the allocated labor hours and budget. Enforce company policies, discipline, and safe working practices among workshop staff. Coordinate with fleet operations to prioritize urgent vehicle repairs. These services ensure mission-critical Installation Engineering, Asset Management and Visibility, and Real Property support to the 378 AEW.
