<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The Assistant Well Site Leader is responsible for providing clear leadership in every aspect of HSE protection, ensuring safe working practices are used. They assist the Well Site Leader in conducting well operations safely, in accordance with the approved well operations program, and in compliance with the applicable policies/standards/procedures and regulatory requirements within the allocated time/cost with optimal use of resources. They develop required training and on-the-job exposure to develop the skills needed to become a Well Site Leader. Organize and lead brief and debrief safety and operations meetings that are related to well operations. Lead daily planning meetings and discuss operations with customer representatives, contractors, PL and third-party supervisors. Attend daily planning call with supervisors from various parties. Update forecast and planned activity to anticipate resource requirements to meet well demands and provide optimum efficiency of services. Check that equipment and services comply with the contract. Manage proper inventory of tangibles such as, but not limited to, cement, barite, bits, as well as rental equipment, and coordinate with PL OP and third-party suppliers as needed. Prepare and ensure material and equipment requests are issued in a timely manner to avoid disruption of operation. Ensure that operations are conducted to prevent the risk of well control, stuck pipe, and any other project and operational risks. Prepare detailed procedures for specific operations (i.e., running casing, cementing, etc.), including technical and operational calculations as relevant to the well- or rig-site operations (e.g., casing volume.) Ensure compliance with Schlumberger policies and Integration PL standards, including standing orders. Manage and monitor operations communications to ensure stakeholders are kept informed and service providers possess information they need to perform their services. Prepare daily cost estimates based on goods consumed and services provided. Participate in operational performance improvements and program changes with the project team. ROLE PURPOSE The Mechanical Lifting & DROPS Subject Matter Expert Lead is the SLB Mutriba Project authority for the safe design, planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Mechanical Lifting and Dropped Objects Prevention (DROPS) activities across the Mutriba Field Development Project.
