<p><h4>Division / Project</h4>
<p>KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a HSE Supervisor for a 5-year PMC contract for the supply of Programme Management services with Kuwait Oil Company. The contract serves to support KOC to achieve its objectives of reaching optimum capacity in its oilfields and enhancing its facilities by the most efficient and economical means available.</p>
<p>The contract aims to provide project management, co-ordination, planning, design, engineering, construction management, contracting, procurement, project controls and other services for construction of new oil field facilities, upgrading of existing facilities, and transfer of technology.</p>
<h4>Primary Objectives</h4>

<li>Identification and control of HSE issues on construction sites</li>
<li>To coordinate implementation of the KOC PMC Safety policies, HSE Management System and Project specific HSE Management Plans as they apply to the project</li>

<li>Provide advice and guidance to the EPC contractor management team on HSE issues through the interpretation of KOC policies and statutory requirements</li>
<li>Monitor compliance with all Kuwait legislative requirements including the dissemination of information to PMC and EPC managers and employees regarding amendments/additions to requirements as they come into effect</li>
<li>Develop and maintain professional relationships with KOC, regulatory bodies and EPC contractors to foster the professional image of KBR</li>
<li>Visit the project site on a regular basis to ensure interest and awareness of HSE is maintained, conduct regular safety talks and safety training sessions relative to the nature of activities being undertaken</li>
<li>Pro-actively visit site and with the EPC contractor implement safety measures to promote and ensure safe work practices</li>
<li>Ensure quality safety observation program is implemented and maintained on each site/project and ensure follow up on findings</li>
<li>Assist EPC contractor construction management personnel in identifying hazards and in planning and organizing the work such that a safe working environment is maintained</li>
<li>Assist EPC sub-contractor safety advisors and site management in the development and revision of specific site safety programmes</li>
<li>Disseminate safety information throughout the workplace via bulletin boards, posters, newsletters, etc.</li>

The role also offers direct involvement in KDF's ISO 27001 certification programme.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Roles and Responsibilities</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Run day-to-day security monitoring across endpoint protection platforms and Microsoft Defender, investigating and escalating alerts as required.</li><li>Investigate suspicious activity, phishing reports, and identity-related security events through to resolution.</li><li>Conduct vulnerability scans, assess and prioritise findings, and drive remediation with infrastructure and application teams until closure.</li><li>Handle cybersecurity incidents, including containment, evidence collection, root-cause review, and documentation.</li><li>Administer and review multi-factor authentication, Conditional Access policies, privileged accounts, and periodic user access reviews.</li><li>Assess KDF's current security posture, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements with clear justification and priority.</li><li>Maintain the cybersecurity risk register and contribute to the development of policies, standards, and procedures.</li><li>Support KDF's ISO 27001 certification programme, including control implementation, evidence preparation, and closure of nonconformities within agreed timelines.</li><li>Maintain security records and evidence, including access review records, incident logs, vulnerability scan results, and remediation history.</li><li>Support internal and external audits by preparing evidence and tracking closure of findings and corrective actions.</li><li>Contribute to alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and applicable Kuwait regulatory requirements.</li><li>Support the evaluation and implementation of additional security capabilities, including centralised log management and SIEM.</li><li>Deliver cybersecurity awareness activities, including phishing simulations and refresher training.</li><li>Prepare regular security reports and dashboards for management, highlighting risks, trends, and recommended actions.</li></ul> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>

A degree or specialisation in Cybersecurity is an advantage.</li><li>Minimum five years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, including direct responsibility for monitoring and incident handling.</li><li>Practical working experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Office 365, and Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access and MFA administration.</li><li>Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and end-to-end remediation follow-up.</li><li>Exposure to SIEM or centralised log management platforms, ideally Microsoft Sentinel.</li><li>Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. <p>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production and plant machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns in industrial equipment and machinery. Carry out maintenance, overhauling, dismantling, installation, and alignment of machines. Troubleshoot mechanical systems including bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, chains, belts, couplings, and shafts. Perform maintenance of conveyors, filling/packing machines, motors, pumps, compressors, and other plant equipment . Conduct regular inspection of machinery to identify abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, overheating, and wear. Replace defective mechanical components such as bearings, seals, belts, chains, sprockets, gears, and couplings. Support machine installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement activities. Perform lubrication and routine servicing as per preventive maintenance schedules. Read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions. Maintain proper records of breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, and spare parts used. Coordinate with electrical, production, and other maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime. Follow food manufacturing hygiene, safety, and maintenance standards at all times. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and according to company procedures. Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition. Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment to operational condition.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Experience: 38 years in industrial/plant maintenance or manufacturing industries.</li><li>Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, bottling, packaging, or production plants will be preferred.</li><li>ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field .</li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.</li><li>Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems, chains, belts, and packaging/production machinery .</li></ul>
