Responsible for the full spectrum of maintenance operations; oversee Go/No-Go Testing of all government furnished equipment retrograded from the forward deployed sites for redistribution. Manages refurbishment programs for deep cleaning, upgrade, repair and configuration of IGX and other electronic systems. Directs and supervises Maintenance Support Teams (MST) supporting communication towers, telephony switching systems, and other communication systems. Manage field and sustainment maintenance to all strategic communications systems under the command of the 160th Signal Brigade, its subordinate units and the RCC. Monitors production for compliance with scheduling directives, cost factors, and standards. Develops performance standards, conducts employee counseling, and makes suggestions for formal and informal performance appraisals. Manages the calibration of Government Furnished Property (GFP) test equipment assigned to the Program. Directs, controls, and supervises antenna and tower maintenance in their respective countries, or areas they may be deployed too. Plans and coordinates scheduled maintenance visits for antenna/towers as required. Responsible for providing trip reports to the TLSF Manager as work is performed and completed. Performs a variety of duties pertaining to the operation, maintenance and repair of antennas and associated mounting hardware, tower systems, waveguide, lighting equipment and grounding systems. Will be responsible for accountability of Government Furnished Property (GFP) in their possession or under their control.</p><p>Program: OMDAC-SWACA</p><p>This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus and tuition reimbursement program! Responsibilities The Maintenance Controller for the Kuwait KC-130J Program at Al Mubarak airfield in Kuwait has is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in daily operation and management and administration of the aircraft maintenance program, maintenance personnel, and maintenance actions required to support the customer’s missions and flight schedules. The Maintenance Controller assigns priorities and directs maintenance personnel to correct discrepancies, generate work orders, track and comply with all inspection requirements, compile and record maintenance data applicable to the Maintenance Information System (MIS), provide the ability to compare records and reports on consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production. Description: + Act as point of contact for all aircraft discrepancies that may affect daily operations and mission success. + Direct and coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions and workload planning + Attend meetings with the customer and provide information, reports, and official correspondence regarding aircraft status, mission capability, and maintenance planning information. + Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and customer representatives in the management of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources. + Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and initiate corrective actions as necessary. + Manage completion of maintenance actions and ensure the complete and accurate entry of data into the Maintenance Information System (MIS). + Coordinate with adjacent contractors and supporting agencies to acquire necessary tools, parts, support, materials, and equipment to prevent maintenance stoppages. + Ensure accuracy of documentation, (i.e., aircraft, engine, propeller, logbooks, weight and balance records, and MIS) and adherence to technical publications, policies, procedures, and safe maintenance practices. + Prepares and sends required reports and attend staff / customer meetings as required. + Coordinate troubleshooting efforts on complex maintenance discrepancies, making recommendations for courses of action based on aircraft service history analysis, applicable Maintenance Manual guidance, and operator experience. + Use illustrated parts breakdowns (IPB)s to determine material requirements, research associated part numbers, and order parts. + Monitor and track all life limited components, periodic special, hourly, conditional, and phase maintenance/isochronal inspections as required by the Periodic Maintenance Requirements Manual, Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC)s, manufacturer’s specifications, and all applicable directives, orders, and instructions. + Coordinate with operations personnel and aircrew members to ensure the flight schedule is adequately supported and missions are able to be conducted within prescribed timelines. + Conduct off-station maintenance when required. + Assist in the conduct of maintenance on the flight line and back shops as required to ensure aircraft are available to support the flight schedule. + When necessary, perform other duties and functions critical to the support of the program. Specific Requirements: + Must be United States (U.S.) citizen, be able to read, write, and understand the English language + Must be able to obtain a United States Passport.
